With the news that Richy is seemingly going to be out for a while, I just don’t see Kane leaving this window, he’s surely aware of this too.

If you think we are doing it badly, psg are publicly claiming they are going to lay off staff because of ffp issues cause by mbappe not leaving.

Kane not signing anything and staying will be very detrimental to the team, especially if he's made the captain (because honestly we couldn't not make him one). The entire season the club and Ange will be targeted by the world of constant questioning his whereabouts in the coming summer. Such bloody disruption is the last I hope to have in the dressing room when finally we are seeing some cohesiveness of true belief in the coaches.

I bloody know manipulation to my core :ROFLMAO: Surely I've proven my psychology credentials now  I'm even self aware, notice how I have to quote myself to prove I knew something as I'm desperate for attention, absolute masterclass of psychology over here.

If Kane does not do what the club demand of him, the club will turn people on Kane by taking the connection each fan has with the club and making it feel like Kane is personally being disloyal to the fans. When in all actuality, he is simply doing his job and taking decisions best for him. This allows for win/win for the board because either Kane looks like the bad guy who abandoned us or he does what the club wants. The only option for Kane to avoid this is to play out of his skin to prove himself to the fans but whilst we obviously hope he plays out of his own skin, shouldn't have to, we should be smarter and realise he's given so much to us already.
As i said in another post i’m obviously not Levy’s biggest fan but I think this post is a little unfair. Levy is realistically playing the only card he has. I said along that Kane had the power, it wasn’t rocket science. Levy is trying to use whatever (very little) leverage he has. There was always a strong possibility Kane would want to see out his contract.

Levy’s biggest errors are the mess that’s been made ever since Poch went, that has led us here, but that’s for another thread. I’m not going to blame Levy at this point for trying to do what he can in a really tough situation.

Exactly this. He needs to leave now.
Never thought I‘d say this, but I am siding with Levy on this

I don’t know if Eze would fit from a squad make up perspective. I think he’d be better suited to this system at LW than Son but that would render probably our most reliable goal scorer in Son far less useful, would you play him at striker or stick with Richy? Tough call tbh. Antonio Silva I don’t know enough about, I’ve only seen YouTube clips which is not enough to say if he’s worth it, just can’t really comment on that one, I only really watch Serie A and the Bundesliga other than the PL. Orban I’m not anywhere near as impressed with as a lot of others on the site. He looks awkward and very poor technically to me, good CB’s would be on him like a rash and take advantage of his poor first touch and ball control, especially with his back to goal. Top clubs can’t get away with having strikers with shit general play anymore. It surprises me that a lot of people can’t remember how frustrating Defoe was and the realistic outcome is that Orban won’t pan out to be anywhere near the player Defoe was.

Eze is a sure thing, I’d drop 50m on him and fully expect him to be class for us, especially with how easily he glides past players making him very well suited to the wing role under Ange. This is the calibre of player we would need to be targeting to give us a chance of not dropping off massively if Kane leaves in my opinion
Made a post detailing all this in the Eze thread if you want to have a look mate (y)

I'd prefer him to go at this point. He instigated the whole situation, we acquiesced, now he wants to fuck around. Dick head.
Appreciate what you've done Harold but now it's time to roll.
I want the situation resolved and I really wouldn’t mind if he left but I’d never ever call a player who has given me such joy a Dick Head.

Shameful.
