I find it hard to believe that Kane has Bayern as his preferred club.

There's also no chance that Levy sells him for less than 100m euros.

This guy has been incorrect in every single thing about Spurs that he's posted the last two/three months.

Definitely knows he can get engagement from Spurs fans.

Although there’s no doubt Bayern are much bigger than us, will win way more silverware than us, and probably pay Kane a higher wage than us, I genuinely don’t see them as much of a threat in terms of him leaning, I think he’d rather stay. Unlike Madrid and probably United where I do believe there’s a good chance he’d leave us

I don’t actually think they would pay him more than we would. The money isn’t in the Bundesliga and it’s just as much of a one sided league as France

Bayern are not that big a pull, it’s an easy title, nothing more these days

Bayern would be a bit of a pointless move for Kane, surely he wants to break Shearers record. He can stay with us another year then move to say Man.City on a free or he can move to Man.U this summer.

Bayern to win a Bundesliga and a small chance of CL but still unlikely meh don’t see it personally, he’d have to also uproot his family to Germany, also don’t see the Kane’s wanting to do that.

I agree with the sentiment but I think maybe you’re taking it a little far. Wages wise I agree, I think it would probably be fairly similar in that I would have thought their top earners earn more than ours, but yeah overall probably a similar wage bill and we’d probably match their offer for Kane.

As for Bayern being an easy title and nothing more, I wouldn’t quite agree with that mate. As for the title, it went to the wire last season, closer than the PL title race that was being bigged up as being one of the best ever etc. And let’s not forget Bayern were European champions only 3 years ago. They’re not in the best place right now but they’ll be challenging again I’m sure

Personally, I cannot see Levy letting Kane go for free next summer, it goes completely against all that he is.

If he can’t take a hit on selling some of our deadwood below fair value, then I can’t see him letting £60-90M (or whatever another team is prepared to offer) walk out the door for free in 2024.

Levy has his poker face on, bluffing like crazy IMO, but someone will call him out with a bid soon and he’ll have to consider it.

I could be miles off and stand to be corrected 🤷‍♂️

Levy will want back into the CL more. That's where he sees the Club, a top 4 regular.

That's much more likely with Kane in the side.

They’ve won the last 11 in a row!

If he went there and won the league it would be seen as business as usual. If he went there and they didn’t win it would be seen as a flop.

I agree with you - but how much more likely? Right now, you'd say we are behind: City, Arsenal, Utd, Newcastle, Liverpool and probably Chelsea for the a top 4 slot. And frankly, we were worse than the likes of Brighton and Villa last year

I could see Levy thinking "we won't get there anyway, better to just cash in"

Tough to say

I don't think he'll think like that. He'll have discussed with the committee/new manager what's needed to give them a good shout of getting back into the top 4.

We've still got a more talented squad than the likes of Newcastle. We just haven't had the right coach....and with the right improvements I think we'll be back up there

Isn't that dependant on English teams doing well in Europe next season?
It depends on coefficient points gained, which in something like the last 20 seasons we’d of got the 5th spot.
We also have an extra team in Europe next season 8 altogether.
Would be very difficult for our league not to get it.

Its Top 5 for champions league next season 👍🏻
Has this been confirmed? I remember reading a couple of articles about it a month or so ago, but it was "expected".

Would be a game changer if so. Does it also mean 6th and 7th get Europa or is it only 1 EL place and 7th get ECL?

It’ll be top 8 get Europe next season if as expected we get the extra champions league spot.

Top 5 = champions league
6th and 7th = Europa league
8th = Conference League

Obviously depends on already qualified teams winning our domestic cups aswell.

That season is over now. We finished 4th the season before and we still have the same players plus more. I don't know how anyone can judge how we will do next season. Especially under a new manager.
