Harsh. He was pretty bloody good last year in fairness - he might not have scored but he played really well (the game where GLC scored the second)
Yeah, fair enough. He did play well that game. But I do recall plenty of games vs City where he was invisible. Whether that was because he was just poor or our performance didn't allow him to get in the game, I'm not sure.

If (and it's a big if) we want to sing a song to try and 'hurt' Kane then a simple ...

Get out of our club,
Get out of our club,
Harry Kane,
Get out of our club

... would suffice.

BUT ... any negativity towards Kane on Sunday will create a negative atmosphere, affect the team, and weaken our hand and not Man City's. Personally I hope he is named on the bench (just to remind both him and City he is still our player) and is made to warm up a lot (just to feel awkward) and the fans ignore him and sing the 'one of our own' song exclusively for Ollie Skipp all game.

If he goes, everyone who owns a Harry Kane shirt should wear it with a Harry Kane mask and sing "Mercenary, Mercenary Me" to the tune of Marvin Gaye's Mercy Mercy Me.

I’d expect £150m to be the number than gets the deal done, Levy may extract £160m, but doubtful.
Ultimately Kane’s price is only going down from here on in. His value to us will remain hight, but market value come next summer will be lower, he’ll be 29, we know he has an iffy injury record, he will only have two years left on his deal. Short of bagging 40+ goals this season, his price is dropping. Even extending his contract won’t add much value to him due to his age and number of peak years left.
Now feels the right time, extract as much as we can, in a window where there are clubs in dire financial trouble who absolutely need to sell just to stay afloat.

Massive dollop of co-op brand salt with this, but a guy called Danc on COYS posted this…

My first bit of ITK from this morning. A friend on a spurs group I’m on. Take with the necessary pinch of salt but I have no reason to disbelieve it. And it tally’s up with what we have already heard.

I'm friends with Sam Hitchen (Steve's wife) and just bumped into her in CO OP. I asked her about Kane situ, she said he's said he'll stay but wants a new contract with more money and a release clause. Kane, his brother, his Dad, Levy, Steve and Fabio are thrashing it out this morning..

This is the sort of ITK I crave! proper old school!

I'm assuming you didn't try singing this yourself prior to posting it.

Fucking hell alot of sensitive souls on here cant take a light hearted joke lol deleted so no more tears

I don’t think calling Kane’s missus a slipper is a light-hearted joke tbh.

Now excuse me I’ve got a poetry recital to attend…

I can't help but feel that Paratici has players lined up for both scenarios, with or without selling Kane. We have to set a deadline to pull the trigger either way. Agree to sell Kane and pull the trigger on more expensive lucrative signings. Decide to keep Kane then pull the trigger on less expensive but still high quality.

The last time i was asked to sing, i was asked to sing Solo or so i thought. It turned out to be "So Low" so others could drown me out.
Yeah I'm not really referencing your ability of being able to hit a high C or not, more that if you try and sing it, it most certainly won't sound anything like "mercy mercy me" because THE WORDS DONT FUCKIN FIT!

Listening to the Overlap with Keane, Neville & Carragher.

Well played to the Spurs fan having a pop at Neville for the interview with Kane. Neville trying to defend Kane as much as possible, cringe.

Roy Keane saying what we all think on the Kane saga, was absolutely spot on. Carragher also defending Spurs and Levy.

EDIT: To add fair play to the Man United fan saying to Neville would he have done an interview with a man united player if they wanted to leave. Neville is being made to look poor here and its great. Excuse central now.

if they sell Kane today, then it could be the worst day of my life as i also made an ITK yell. :(
LOL. i actually made it work and it didn't sound too bad. most importantly, it was the thought that counted!

This may sound silly, so no bashing ok! If we do get £150m (ish) for Kane why don’t we go balls out for Haaland? If they only stand to get €75m for him
next year when the release clause sets in, could we not offer €85 this year, get ahead of the game, Dortmund make more money from him. If City get Kane and Chelsea have Lukaku, can you see them going for him next summer? Spanish clubs may also be in some financial trouble still even next year. We’d certainly have the money to do it! At least test the waters surely?!
That's what I did on Football Manager so...…..
