Isn't this a fan vote as opposed to the PFA Player of the Season? I think you needed to vote on the EA Sports website. If anyone other than Kane should win it then it's probably Dias, but I don't think fan voted awards like this are worth all that much.

Isn't this a fan vote as opposed to the PFA Player of the Season? I think you needed to vote on the EA Sports website. If anyone other than Kane should win it then it's probably Dias, but I don't think fan voted awards like this are worth all that much.

My understanding is that it is the official POTY but it’s voted for by EA Sports fans plus the 20 captains in the PL. No idea if all the EA votes is, say, 50% of the total and the other 50% is made up from the captains. Otherwise 1 million EA fans could vote for Dias and 19 captains vote for Kane, so Dias wins...... must be more of a 50/50 thing.

Any fan vote is just not worthwhile, though I’m surprised Fernandes didn’t win it for that exact reason.

Kane not winning this by a landslide is embarrassing no matter who you support. Dias was excellent but he’s playing alongside £500M worth of talent. Kane tops the goals and assists charts and he’s been playing for the most defensive manager the PL has ever seen.
