Maybe the club are, for once, doing everything they can to show they have finally realised they need to sort things out.

Yes, we all know Ange probably wasn't first choice but the more we hear about him the more fans and others are being won other.

In addition, we all know we've needed to look for a Hugo replacement and that long awaited AM, with both of these being resolved within the last week.

Therefore could this be what is needed to sway Harry into either, signing a new deal or ignoring any contact this summer and deciding to stay for another season just to give the club one last chance?

Nope, he puts the all time Prem goalscorer at risk if he moves abroad.

Won't happen.
Records are there to be broken. Winning trophies can never be taken away from you.

I've no idea what's in Kane's head and I'd be surprised if he goes to Bayern...but I wouldn't rule it out.

It's not something i'd usually push for (i tend to think players or a chairman don't need to respond to every story that a journo concocts) but on this occasion it does seem to me that with a new coach coming in and us trying to get our 'good vibes' back after last season, it would really be beneficial for Harry to make his feelings public asap - and not the usual wishy washy non committal nonsense well coached media savy players come out with, but a proper 'this is what i'm definitely doing' type statement, maybe backed up with a line or two from the Chairman to confirm unity on the decision.

Now it might be that Harry does want to stay with us and is just waiting to see if Levy goes through with some transfer promises before committing, but equally it maybe that his heart is set on a move at the end of next season, or even a move this summer, but whatever it is, for the good of the club it feels like this time everyone needs to know where they stand, because i'm pretty sure we'd all accept it, we'd just like to know and not feel in limbo.

I don’t think that would be good for anyone.

I don't think he will be with us this season. I think he's already made his mind up he's going. Where to that's still to be decided? His preference is UTD or if he's got to go abroad then RM is probably his preference but if Bayern are the only club willing to pay the asking price then that's where he'll go. It still early days and other clubs could come into the reckoning as the deadline draws near. For him to stay one last season it's down to Levy to stay strong and resist all offers for another year and for us to bring in those other couple of players that can make this team fly just as ..........and I'm sorry for the analogy........the Arse did last season. My gut feeling though is he will go in this window.

I think Harry has his feet on the ground. He's got status. He's got a stage. Who internationally hasn't heard of him?

Keep and let him walk next summer if his mind is made up. Is he just going to sit out a year of his prime? I don't think so, or that's he's that kind of person ultimately. If he stays, he'll produce, might even have some fun again. Doubtful he stays after but eh. Let the new manager have the best first season he could possibly have and see what needs doing next summer.

It would be great to tell arrogant Bayern to F off.
Reading the German papers makes it clear that Kane will leave an average club in the Premiership who finished 8th last season and is not in Europe anymore for the great German champions.

I think it's bollocks actually. How have they held positive talks over personal terms when the club have said catagorically that he's not going anywhere? I think he stays in England and tries to break Shearer's record, and I think all of this crap is coming straight from his idiot brother.

His idiot brother is probably who the “positive talks” were with, it sure as hell wasn’t with Levy.
