Why should Modric be treated with disdain by Spurs fans............he isn't from North London and he isn't,nor has he ever been a Spurs fan.
He is Croatian.
He is a professional footballer and was an employee of Tottenham Hotspur.
He received a much better offer both on a professional and financial level and wanted to leave.
Get over it!

Like so many posts that attack others' views you haven't actually taken into account what is actually being said.

Very few are unhappy with Modric for wanting to leave.

He signed a long contract then a couple of months wanted to go to Chelsea when they came sniffing. His refusal to play at the beginning of last season is what started the disdain.

Then this summer he came out to the media to vent his frustration while negotiations were ongoing and once again refused to play.

That's why people talk about him with disdain, not just because he wanted to leave.
