Someone like Kudus perhaps would be good
He’s a 10 not a RWF. I’ve seen plenty of him and he should not be considered a wide option and certainly not in our system. If you want a young tricky right winger you want Nico Williams but supposedly he signed a contract extension a few months ago. Still has a release clause tho.

Isn't he meant to be a great source for Belgian football?

No clue who he is but if he’s legit then good.

Romano also said Spurs interested in Orban a few days back and said essentially watch this space as to how it will develop.

This seems far far more likely than say Vhalovic for example, sounds like we are weighing our options up.

Mabye something like Orban and Kudus vs just Vhalovic or Chiesa if Juve signal they’d be open to a deal.

Orban and Kudus would be extremely exciting and give our attacking options the new pace and dimension it currently lacks.

Seemed to be a decent source on the Lavia to Chelsea deal saying his agents were in London celebrating the move yesterday.

So easy for people to get lucky and build a rep on twitter though so salt is required.

He's really good for Belgian players/Belgian league. Not sure on other nationalities

Have a feeling that Vlahovic is our Tapsoba and Orban our Nelsson
I really think this guy is worth the risk over Vlahovic as his ceiling could be anything - whereas as some have mentioned injuries for Vlahovic is a risk. Additionally we’ve never had a big money signing work out, we need to give our £50m striker a fair shot in his best position and it frees up more funds for a better CB / winger combo I’m on the Orban train to goalstown

Strangely I feel like this is one that is most likely to happen. I don’t get that feeling with any of the other current links (Dusan, Eze, Kudu, Chiesa etc) but this i would almost be surprised if it didn’t. Famous last words I know but unless we change our minds it feels like it wouldn’t take much to wrap up. Maybe it’s just I haven’t really seen any other serious links to anyone else but there just seems like too much smoke.

This one has the most content and repeating links, from top sources in Belgium and been linked by the British press too. I agree, can't see any of the others happening tbh.

Anyone know where the ITK thread has gone for 14th August. Did one of you f*ckers break some rules again lol
This summer the ITK Thread has less minutes than Ndombele. Must be a reason, but for me SC is nowhere near as enjoyable as other years, shame.

Desperately need wingers - Son and Kulu are purely ineffective out wide, they're both inverted players. We need pure wingers with raw pace and quality to get down the line.

I think Solomon on the right would be worth trying too.

Solomon on the right in place of Kulu is a great and different alternative to teams that want to sit deep like Brentford did.

The assist he got here at 1:43 is a good example, the way he can drop his shoulder and find a yard of space with his acceleration could make a big difference in certain games.

I hope we do push forward with a deal for Orban if we can, especially if its still in the reported region of £25-30m.

Its all well and good needing players out but they are unlikely to go anywhere until the last week of the window. The majority of Europe is skint and looking for bargains or loans.

In this position we're light so I think we should push through with a deal if possible.

It is such a weird argument many fans start to take as a rule now, that because Hitchen was awful and was not able to capitalize on the big signings he did (the first time we really spent big) we are not ever able to succeed in doing so..

I agree.. I think we were hampered by the Romeo substitution at the weekend, as we didn’t use the concussion substitution. That meant we couldn’t bring him in later in the game when they got tired as we’d used our subs in the 3 timeframes. Could have brought him on earlier though!

We only used two of the timeframes. Perisic and Sarr was a double substitution.
