people who read these articles forget the very important fact that spain is in the midst of an economic recession with key affected areas including sports and football. this kind of money doesnt come from thin air and unless they do some extremely astute business there's no way they can cough up the money for bale who we have on contract for some time yet!

The earliest Celtic and proto Celtic settlements can be found In Urnfield (Germany) and Hallstatt (Austria). They then spread out over most of Europe and out as far as Turkey.

Don't take my word for it though, look it up. I made a point of doing that before I posted.

Might have helped if you'd done the same?

I have and they got there from Asia, look it up!

What part of 'the earliest recorded' didn't you understand?

mate, i don't want to get into an anthropological discussion, I have my sources and and they are impeccable. You don't have to take my word for it, just believe whatever you wish.

I couldn't give 2 flying fcuks anymore with all this shite!

Gazza left, Ginola left, Klinsman left, Modric left, Berbatoss left................................Spurs still here!!!!

Good post, worst for me though was Van der Vaart leaving this summer

Bale will go to one of the Spanish giants eventually , the press are already trying to hound him out ( and Suarez ) , I just hope it's not as soon as I fear.

According to the sun ronaldo has said he wont leave Madrid this summer or until 2015 so this should mean he wont be going this summer:) and with them going for Falcao this makes a move for both of them even less likely

Whatever striker they determine to be surplus I will gladly take. Even if it's Callejon.

I admit I haven't read this thread, but Bale is too damn good for us. I think he has been exceptionally loyal, and I wont resent him for a second if he wants to test himself against the best in the world.

Higuain will be the one to go as he has never been loved by the president since he arrived before he got there as well as the fact Benzema has been good and will still develop

Normally the Spanish Government or Madrid council bail them out of any tight hole.. I seem to remember that they were around £300m in debt and then miraculously they sell their training ground to the council for £300m and in the blink of an eye the debt is now wiped out!
