According to skysports Gareth Bale's Italian agent, three Italian clubs are trying to sign Bale from us but he says Bale will only move to Real Madrid this January...

I'd post the article but it does not seem to be working...

Personally if we sell him in the next 3 years we may as well give up and fade back into mediocrity

Agent confirms Bale interest

Gareth Bale's Italian agent insists three Serie A outfits are interested in signing the Spurs ace - but only Real Madrid could land him in January.

The Welsh wizard's stock has risen considerably this season after a number of scintillating displays, including a hat-trick against Inter Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Agent Peppino Tirri says Juventus, AC Milan and Inter - as well as Real Madrid - are interested in the 21-year-old.

But, while he believes 'there are high chances' Bale will move to Italy one day, Tirri does not think a deal will be done in January.
Confirm interest

The agent told ilsussidiario.net: "I confirm the interest of Juventus for Bale, the Bianconeri are trying to bring him to Italy but not in January, in June.

"AC Milan and Inter Milan too have shown interest in the Welsh player, partly because he would like to play in Italy in the near future. There are high chances that it can happen.

"Also, Real Madrid are seriously trying, (Jose) Mourinho has his eye on him and the Spanish club would be the only one who can take Bale in January."

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has previously stated Bale is not for sale as the Londoners push for glory in both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

Bale for Benzema, Diarra and Drenthe would be the sort of deal needed to tempt us.

This isn't even Bale's 'Italian agent.' He doesn't represent Bale currently at all as he left Bale's agency sometime back. Talking out of his ass, methinks.

You know where she lives?
The last time there was a Bale transfer rumour it inspired panic amongst some of our number.

expect a swift rebuff of this story.....he doesnt have an "italian" agent!

he just has an agent!, personally after redknapp saying that levy is hounding him for a "next level" player & quotes that he would be scared to pay £35m for dzeko (meaning the club would sanction it!!)....there is zero chance of bale going anywhere.....ZERO!

I doubt that Bale won't eventually play for Real Madrid. It's lunacy to think he wouldn't. But it won't be this January. I don't think it will be next year either. But maybe the year after.

No matter how big we are, think we are or want to be.....Madrid and Barca will always be bigger. We can hold off many clubs, even United possibly now, but never those two.

Its laughable...Bale wont be going anytime soon and why would he, particularly if we give him improved new terms.

Maybe in a few years but if we keep progressing the way we are its certainly conceivable that he is here for a very long time.

Every chance that he becomes a real Tottenham legend.

Not so sure Mr Pink. He has no loyalty to Spurs and if his ambition is to move to Italy (which i think his agent is suggesting) then i can't see how we could stop him and why we wouldn't sell while he is hot.

I'd argue that we should try and keep him for next season to have a real go at the league but the longer you keep him beyond that the more his contract and value runs down.

It would be shocking to lose him as we simply couldn't replace him but what we as fans want means nothing, it only matters what the player wants

Sorry his 'Italian agent' !!

Not saying it isn't balls but that IF he does have desires on Italy or Spain for that matter we cannot stop him. Also there is no evidence he would want to stay at Spurs for the long haul.
