They’ll have an injury crisis and he’ll be the last for player standing.

Saudi is our only hope. Its probably perfect for him, slow paced and most players are league 1 level so he won't have to work hard at all as he's clearly allergic to hard work.
I highly doubt Saudi will take him. They are being very selective in which talents they've targeted. They are aiming to improve the credibility and competitiveness of the league and are very aware of it not becoming a retirement club for older players on a last pay cheque.

They saw what happened to China and they want a sustainable league

He has 18 months left on his contract. Just going to have to see it out and move on.

If he does come back just put him on gardening leave.
That way he doesn't infect anyone at the club and if he decides he wants to play football for a living anymore then a club have to pay us.

Should probably just try to reach a settlement with him and get rid.

They may want to end it early but our statement at the time said he’s joining on loan for the rest of the season.
I’d be surprised if we agreed a mid-term review clause.
So they may ask him to stay away from the training ground but I don’t think they can send him back to us.

Oh and 6kg overweight!!! Wow.

He’s not a waste of talent, he’s just a waste of an opportunity for someone else. Hopefully no team gives him a contract, at any level.

Really?
They are paying Jordan Henderson 700 k a week ?

Have you seen the crowd attendance

It’s just a load or oil rich idiots pissing away money that could be better spent, the Saudi league will fail

I’ll put money on the fact that after his retirement it will come out he’s been battling an eating disorder. There’s so much in the stuff that makes sense in that regard, from following the regimen in public and sneaking the other stuff in private, the wildly fluctuating weight, the amount of body shaming he’s come in for, etc. there has to be something underlying this beyond the lazy waste of talent tropes.

Barring a major turnaround from Tanguy, which seems unlikely on past form, no one with any wheels turning between their ears is going to sign him up on a loan or otherwise after this latest failure.
6kg over is staggering for a professional footballer - buy 6kg of pork from a supermarket and slap it on a table - that’s a lot of meat!.
Alrhough it would be great to pay him off and get rid the problem is, this is probably precisely what Tanguy wants, and it sets a precedent for other bad signings to down tools for a pay off.
Such a waste of undoubted talent. Would like to think that Tanguy might one day look back with regrets at what might have been, and how his career might be remembered for the wrong reasons, but somehow doubt he gives a toss really.

Wasn’t their coach drooling over him yesterday?
