About to say Leicester looking way too strong for the Championship. Had 2 minutes of comical defending and Blackburn have equalised.

League 1

Orient have beaten Lincoln City 1-0.

My mate’s grandson Max Sanders played 60 odd minutes so I am happy for him

Birmingham just equalised from a penalty when both players slipped over and fell into each other.

Within 3 minutes Birmingham had what possibly looked like a good penalty shout but instead got a corner. On the replay it was a clean tackle and a goal kick.

As much as VAR pisses me off, this match is showing how hard it is to ref a game.

The game was abandoned due to someone having a medical emergency

did you guys see the clips of fans rushing onto the pitch and sitting down to try and stop the game? They wanted to get medical attention to the guy. Sadly he passed away.
Apparently FA guidance is for refs to play on. Odd that it didn’t get the attention it deserves because of some whiny German manager.

I was at the game, the fans run on and stopped the game for awhile then the ref wanted to restart the game but the Lincoln goal keeper refused to play the ball and that’s when the players were taken off the pitch

I mean I can see the argument about slipping but I'm not exactly seeing this as a "ghost penalty" as some of said elsewhere.

I don't know what a ghost penalty is. The Birmingham player is already going down as he turns.

It's still strange Leicester went down but it must be nice to have a reset where you just win every week before you return. Way more fun than fighting for 17th.

Eustace being sacked from Birmingham is one of the most bizarre decisions especially as it's being followed with the completely unnecessary risk of appointing Rooney.

Back to back wins in the league and they are 6th in the table having not finished higher than 17th in the last seven seasons.

Eh, what?

Not saying it was a penalty but was he a teensy bit naughty with the trailing foot there?

Completely different owners today of course but this is like when Birmingham sacked Gary Rowett when he was doing well for them and appointed Zola who was a disaster.

Their fans must be simultaneously up in arms and shitting themselves, they've been through this before
