Nine games into the season, so let's check out Cheltenham Town's top scorers across League One, the EFL Cup and EFL Trophy.

James Gibbons 1

Oh...

That's it?

Oh dear.

Still, could be worse. At least Cheltenham have scored one. I mean, that's something to build on, right? At least, someone's found the net.

Sorry, what's that? James Gibbons plays for Bristol Rovers and that was an OG?

Oh man, they're fucked.

Still above Fleetwood in the League though. :ROFLMAO:

Jack Clarke with 5 goals in 7 appearances in the Championship so far this season, intrigued to see how we develops as I believe we have a buy option from memory.

I’d rather have a sell on clause - can’t see him ever being good enough for us

We shall see. He is the best player in the Championship by some margin. Next step is a PL club like Burnley, who actually wanted to sign him this Summer. He is worth considerable amount of money now though.

Wednesday another club that's being run into the ground by a dodgy owner. It was a miracle they went up last season.

He rarely looked up to it when he did get minutes though. IIRC he'd had injury and health issues early on after joining the club though and that likely was a big part of him never adapting. As mentioned above, we were a complete mess and I don't think any young player would have thrived here.

Sunderland have a nice former Spurs contingent.

I hope we have a buy back clause. Clarke has real Grealish vibes about him and not just because of wearing his socks round his ankles.

Jack Clarke now possibly the most valuable player we bought in 2019…and the only one not still at the club.

Crawley in the promotion race after surviving relegation last year. Football eh?
