I agree. I was only joking, but if we do sell hojberg, and a couple of others we should have huge money to spend so it would be good to see the club go big for once
Agree bud, tbh even without selling them we should be able to bring in a least one player of top quality. Obviously if you ignore squad size but more from just a financial perspective. I get we need to make room in the squad but purely from a profile point of view there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to.

I’d say Chiesa and Dusan are pretty much off the table at this point. Both scored last night against Udinese, although Dusan’s was a pen, and Chiesa is really looking like his old self again. They worked really well together and seemed to have excellent synergy playing in a two up top. Juve would be crazy to sell them tbh. Below is a brief highlights vid. Not that we ever thought we had a chance but still.

Lot of passion in those celebrations, expect it was pretty cathartic to get back to the football after another summer off off-field distractions.

I don't see them selling either, without Europe Juve are in a great position to push hard for the top this year.

This may be the very reason they need to sell someone for decent money.
Im not an expert on Serie a, or finances but do Juve have the financial ability to withstand pressure to sell in a season without european revenue?

I'm not sure, depends on how close they're sailing to the UEFA FFP edge. I would imagine they're pretty confident of getting CL again given they actually had a strong season going before the points penalty furore began and will be sure to do enough to get themselves inside the lines for then. I think the last CRonaldo year drops off the assessment period next summer which should help there too.

Sorry to burst bubbles but the chances of us signing either Chiesa or Vhalovic are imo not far off 0.

Juve have some financial troubles but I don't think it'll be enough to force them to sell and if they need to sell I just very much doubt they'd sell either of these two and especially not this late in the window.

And not sure either would favour us. No Europe, no prestige right now and probably not the biggest wages
