Problem is next season those managers will have Ndombele Winks Lo Celso all back in the squad with no new CB with Dier Davies Sanchez Tanganga still here and Levy will probably sign Lenglet because he's cheap it's gonna be same old same old
I'd have taken any of Ndombele, Lo Celso or Winks as an option off the bench last night given how turgid and uncreative our passing is! :ROFLMAO:

(Not advocating for them to be given another chance btw...)

The focus needs to 100% be on him anyway. The Conte situation is a symptom of utterly incompetent management, not the cause.

Of course. Trouble is, they have bashed any passion out of us. Going to games is as bad now as it was under Sherwood. Maybe worse actually due to the volume of people in the stadium

I've been a huge supporter of Conte and desperately wanted him to succeed here but clearly this is not working. This club is such a mess on and off the pitch I don't even know where to start. Whoever comes in is going to have one hell of a task on their hands.

If Conte gets sack will he get the contract payment until the end of the season or will it also have the optional year? That could be why Levy will wait until the seasons finished.
Sad times at Spurs!

Conte is giving his pre match conference tomorrow, unfortunately looks like he is sticking around a little longer. Can’t wait to see a shoddy performance against Forest 🥱🥱🥱🥱

If Levy doesn't sack Conte, it's clear he doesn't give 2 shits about the football side of Tottenham. The only reason Levy has to keep Conte until the end of the season is so he doesn't have to pay him off. It's clear to everyone Conte has lost both the fans and the dressing room.
We are not Leeds or Watford. Levy will consider and do whatever he thinks is best for Tottenham Hotspur. He will evaluate and try and work out which would give the best chance of CL football next season or not affect ST sales. I don’t personally know what direction he will choose to take.

The cost of losing out on CL money will far outweigh paying Conte off.

I can't fathom how Levy won't act now as it's clear this relationship is terminal and will descend further into chaos.

Son won the golden boot last season playing under Conte. Kulesevski d great stats from January to the end of last season playing for Conte. Perisic won a Scudetto playing for Conte. Fact is all 3 have not performed to their usual standards this season - do we truly believe that Conte is to blame for their poor form?

The football is dire, the substitutions questionable, but it is the same manager and system that took us from mid table to 4th last season when he had players in form and was lucky with injuries. So I ask, is it;

a) the serial winner manager and his system to blame or
b ) the poor form of key players and lack of quality alternatives

Because if it is b) - then it doesn't really matter who is in charge.
c) We have been worked out this season and Conte has no plan b.

I don’t get the hang up about the ‘cost’ to pay him off - he’s getting his money til the end of the season whether he goes now or not. I really wanted it to work out but it isn’t going to, and a big club with a decisive owner/chairman and a plan would act now

He has to go, however to be back in this merry go round is embarrassing for not just us fans but the board too. He has backed himself in to a corner now, sacked so many managers in such a short period he now doesn't know what to do. If this was two years ago he would be gone by now but he knows we can't stay on this ridiculous rinse and repeat cycle. Stuck jumping from one manager to the next in desperation. Depressing situation to be in and it's Levy's fault.

We'll need lots of empty seats on saturday and some really angry fans in the stadium voicing there frustrations clearly, maybe then Levy will act.

If they dont want to pay him off now and they dont want to pay another coach at the same time, cant they just put Conte on gardening leave and let Mason just run the show. Anyone will perform better than Conte for Spurs now who checked out ages ago but is evident to almost everyone now.

I can only assume its because we currently have no idea who to replace him with and he thinks Conte has a better chance then Mason of getting top 4.

How he’s made it to 10:19 without being sacked is beyond me. I would have kicked his door down this morning
