You have to take it in context of - if true - what else anyone knows. It could well be the case (if we follow that paradigm) that Conte is leaving and the club know, and believe that it's the best option. It's not like the rhetoric is to sack Conte, is it?

If Conte ended the season like the last 2 games have gone, he'd deserve it though - let's be realistic.

I 100% agree, but that happening would be a disaster in my eyes. Even if Conte leaves, there are better options. And I will always love poch for what he did here. What’s even crazier is it makes Levy look like an idiot for sacking him in the first place, yet he’s running back to him chasing something Poch accomplished with a much better squad that what we currently have.
