Surely that was a "please sack me now" move by Conte to sub Kulu for Sanchez? No sane person would have done that, why the hell would an "elite" football manager even contemplate that?

He needs to go. Now.

He was protecting a 0-0 when we needed a goal to stay in 🤦🤦

Just coming back from the game and being behind the goal in the South stand I could see the players facial expressions and they were simply not up for the fight. The tactics were abysmal and there was just no fight at all. Milan just sat back and Conte was out fossiled. You wouldn’t even know that was a knock out game with needing two goals. I heard more Poch chants on my way out of the ground but this was a minority as I feel most have just reset back to ah well Conte has gone. Very weird times I just don’t know what to say anymore.

I get that the problems run deeper than the manager but I don’t see how anyone can want him to stay now. Yes we’ve got some average players but they’re nowhere near as bad as he makes them look. In my opinion, of course. We’re always 10 yards deeper than we should be and I think if they were relieved of Conte’s instructions our players would be much more attacking. I don’t think any manager will make this lot great but they’re much better than what they’re being allowed to show. This is like death by a thousand cuts.

Exactly what’s the worse that could’ve happened if we’d actually attacked and tired to win… oh yea we lose haha so at least let’s try that rather than just don’t attack at all fall asleep and still lose 🤦‍♂️😂

Let us not forget Paratici turned away Fonseca because he felt he was too attacking as a coach.

"for medical reasons antonio has left the club and returned to italy, ahead of his planned departure at the end of the season. We would like to take the opportunity to thank antonio, and his staff for all they have done. Ryan Mason will be leading first team training until the end of the season"

Also, in a more selfish financial viewpoint, I’m paying £1,500 a year for a season ticket and am utterly fucking bored out of my mind every time we play.

Literally only go to see my mates at the moment.
It’s been like this for 3 years bro 🤦‍♂️ feel so bad for the paying match going fans.

I gave up my ST of 25 yrs this year as thought it would be like this unfortunately :-(

Just hoping and praying that we won’t hire a 4th manager in a row who is more excited by not losing worse than actually trying to score goals, create chances and try and win 🙏

Conte to Italy's Amazon Prime

These are pretty bad questions tonight (laughs). I am tired because I underwent an operation. I continue to work, I have a contract with Tottenham. I respect the contract. At the end of the season, assessments will be made with the club in the most serene way, I'll have my say... I have a contract about to expire and let's see how the season ends. Maybe they can send me away even earlier. Perhaps the expectations were higher and may be disappointed. What matters for a coach is trying to work and raise the bar. This year we are struggling to raise the bar. Bringing the level from average to good is much simpler, problems still arise when raising it".
