It’s Been the same because, as with every manager, they’re never backed fully to complete their objective.
Style counts for nothing if you don’t have proper quality. We’ve not had that for 5 years.
Not as simple as that but yes the squad has had issues.

Horrendous tonight, he’s broken, the players are broken, us fans are broken.

Typical Tottenham

Well unfortunately for us, but maybe fortunate for him, half the squad were here from his previous tenure. It wouldn't be all that difficult imo.

I find it very sad that we are able to find a way with Conte, depressing quite frankly that we have a top draw proven manager and can’t make it work.

anyhow if Poch is coming back I’d rather it done early. While he does have players from the past he has a lot of players who aren’t his now and it would be better to evaluate them and their suitably now rather than at the start of next season.

It's the end isn't it?

But I don't hold ill will and have no desire to insult him. Both myself and my partner thought he looked ill tonight so I'm still not sure if he should be here but clearly he has a huge desire to win.

It's not working for a number of reasons but the end of last season was great and I thank him for it.
Yeah I can agree with all of this. I still find I like him as a fella, and have huge sympathy for the challenges he’s faced on a personal level this year. As I said after the 1st leg, if he were committed to us beyond this season that might change my perspective but without that commitment, there is simply no benefit to continuing with him.

I think he’s done. That wasn’t our worst performance this season, but it was still disjointed and there’s no sense at all that we’re building towards something.

I don’t think Conte is wholly to blame for the state we’re in - we know he can do better because we’ve seen it. We saw positive stuff under Mourinho in the beginning too, then that all went to shit. We saw Pochettino have an incredible couple of seasons before the wheels came off that. There is something wrong at the club, we’ve changed managers, we’ve bought and sold players, and yet the issues persist.

We definitely need a proactive, attacking coach. We definitely need better, technically skilled players. We absolutely need a strategic direction and a vision for what we want to be. I fear that without fresh leadership a new coach and new players won’t make much of a difference.

Regardless of anything else, Conte needs to go. But what we do next beyond just picking the next guy to drink from the poisoned chalice is absolutely fucking pivotal. We’re a mess of a football club at the moment, and have been for 3 years now at least, because of the board.

Vision. Strategy. Coach. Players.

Can't defend this bloke. This is some of the worst football I've seen in 25 years for entertainment or even trying.

One header on target in 90 minutes. Chasing a game and bring on a centre back who has never been good enough for us. This is just the champions league, that small competition that 3 quarters of the world are watching.

Now to watch us cede 4th place to the Scousers.

When Conte goes, and it has to be when not if, Levy needs to go as well

His appointments since Poch have been laughable and anyone else in Levy's position would be sacked from a performance perspective...if of course our performance was judged by ENIC on football results rather than money earned

Obviously unanimously wanted out but do we think Levy will act or hold on to the summer?
Not likely. We aren’t miles behind the top 4. Conte will go in the summer. Hopefully we use this time now to identify a proper successor*

*but it is Levy so probably not.
