We were awful first half, certainly not on top, and most definitely weren't "all over them" as you put it.

Agree, Everton had 72% possession in the first half. We created one decent chance for Defoe. Bale just didn't want the ball and when he did get it continued to hit crosses with the outside of his left to no one.

I agree with Adebayor, but not Bale. I think with Bale it's more about instructing him to do the right thing.
