Hope we don't have too much of a hangover for the QPR game as I was looking forward to going to that.

Cypriot football has come on leaps and bound in recent years, it won't be 15-0 aggregate score. Ael are the least likely to pull off a shock though, very slow and rely on a solid defence to win games by the odd goal. Having said that they couldn't defend for love nor money at Zenit.

Don't agree we need the first team.

We need to strike the right balance. As you say, under Harry we just chucked all the youth players in at once and under AVB we used almost all the first team bar one or two right the way through the group stages and our league form suffered as a result.

Agree.

I'd prefer that we avoid using the players that are in the first eleven in the Premier League games on eather side of the Europa League game, both in play off and group stage. Feel this is the best use of the entire squad.
I's very important though, that the Europa League game is taken serious and not just a game we throw our youth and reserves at. It must be main priority in training leading up to the game, and give the players the impression that it do matter. Big issue I had with Harry Redknapp's Europa League games was that he spread the idea to his players that Europa League didn't matter and was just for the squad players - games that no one cared about. We heard this from guys like Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar etc. That they was just going through the motion in these games.
I demand us to perform to the same level as in Premier League even if some are rested.

Also agree with this, our squad is huge. We could comfortably field two completely different teams of a high standard and even a third decent team.

If some of those players who are more involved in EL games can't get the job done then maybe they're not the level of player we need.

It will be played on the 21st and in Larnaca's Antonis Papadopoulos stadium, so those of you booking flights should look to get a flight to Larnaca Airport if possible.

Playing in Larnaca. Capacity of around 10,230. 5-7% allocation to away fans

They don't work on percentages out here, they'll give us the whole end behind one of the goals. When we played Anorthosis a few years ago the Spurs fans in Cyprus filled the whole end, must have been 2.000 people.

Agreed. Use the kids for the away leg as far as possible.
