Wilmots is worse. We have a very young squad, so it's always going to be hard to produce top performances. Belgium, on the other hand, have loads of great, experienced players but achieve little- even though they've had Wilmots for ages.Wilmot's the Belgium equivalent of Roy Hodgson. Shoe horning players into the side and playing unfavourable players.
This Belgium squad should be capable of at least getting to the Semi's but I think they'll struggle.
Wasn't vertonghen vice-captain when kompany was captain anyway? How did hazard end up with it?

Wilmots can't get anything out of Hazard, he's got fuck all man management skills whatsoever. He gave him captaincy to try and boost his morale and make him play better.
Belgium have the potential to be formidable if set up and instructed properly. I thought they'd might actually make it click this time round and beat us yesterday, but it's clear they haven't changed a bit under Wilmots. The WC must've opened their eyes to his tactical ineptitude.
I don't follow Belgian football much, but do they really not have any decent full backs? He has 2 on the bench in Lukaku and Meunier. Even if they're not the best play them both so that you can at least have your ideal CB partnership in Toby and Jan, otherwise there's no point in calling them up in the first place. I'm sure they've got others. I remember Cavanda being decent for Lazio a couple of seasons back, not sure what's become of him. Another option, if you don't have any full backs, is to try 3-5-2 or 3-6-1. Nainngolan can anchor, does the job well for Roma. Dries Mertens works hard for Napoli, could give him a go as a wide man. It's not impossible to make attacking midfielders or wingers play as wing backs, Allegri did it very successfully with Cuadrado and Candreva had a great game in that role despite not being a full back or a traditional winger. It's just about discipline.
The less said about playing Fellaini the better. He was at his level at Everton, and that's only because Moyes could take advantage of his bullish style of play there. Marouane 'Elbows' Fellaini is barely a fucking footballer. Can't imagine how Dembele must feel watching that **** and Witsel get a spot over him, or even how Vertonghen feels for that matter being shoved out wide and break up his partnership to accomodate a has been who barely gets a game for a team who don't fucking defend in a league that can barely fucking defend.
Oh wells, I'm not complaining. Their loss is our gain.

What a moron. Who do you think put together that Juve defence in the first place? It was Conte who brought them together and set Juve up in a 3-5-2. This fucking idiot is just deflecting from his failures because he can't turn a bunch of world class players into a half decent team.
