This will never happen, we are a club with Jewish routes singing songs about Yids. There's a reason Levy has looked to the US for sales and investment, no-one in Middle East will come near

I think it is Jason burt at the telegraph who gets good info on PSG so might be worth seeing if he says anything.

I'm not sure about that. Happy to be proven wrong but I would be surprised if that plays into it at all.

It’s not the fact football has lost its morals. The country as a whole has, dirty oil money is everywhere.
Its not just the country mate.

It's a real dilemma. Minority or full ownership doesn't really have much bearing, investment is investment.
For all those saying they'd walk away then just go and do some research about how much of the products and software that we all use many times every day are backed by Arab money.
They realised decades ago that one day their oil wouldn't be as critical as it is today and has been for so long...their money is everywhere.

I'd be interested to hear peoples views on this as I honestly don't see much difference between supporting Spurs backed with Arab money and buying a smartphone/tablet powered by an arm processor (clue: fucking loads of them), or using an app backed with Arab seed money (clue: fucking loads of them)

Most of the uproar I've read is (unsurprisingly) coming from Twitter, and I can't be the only one to see the irony of this when the second largest shareholder of Twitter are the Saudis...not to mention Musk's recent takeover was secured with a big investment by Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund.

He isn't backing down on this. Something is happening. Says Levy has been to Qatar and equity would be less than 30% so not full take over if it was to happen and that multiple sources have confirmed discussions.

I was thinking the same thing so out of interest I did a (very quick) google............Their money and ownership/investment is literally everywhere, from property in almost every big city and town in England (even fucking Runcorn) to Barclays bank, Sainsburys and Harrods. Use Heathrow airport and you're a customer. If you live in an area serviced by Severn Trent Water, there they are. It's almost impossible not to participate.

This is just it mate, I mean if you want no part of anything to do with Arab money then fair play, but good fucking luck with that...you'll be living in a hut in the woods.

The "war chest" in the summer was just a way to increase ENIC's shares in the club, yes?

Imagine this. QSI buys a <30% stake in the club. Every window, they use the same mechanism that ENIC used to inject cash into the club & gradually increase their own stake over a period of years...

I guess the difference is knowingly being a customer and unknowingly. Also, that it seems to openly fly in the face of the change that various campaigns are supporting in the footballing world, mostly around inclusiveness. Its the hypocrisy of it I think? I'm not sure that many other industries where they're involved are so outwardly pro inclusivity like football has been since the first 'Kick it Out' campaign.

"As per the terms of the agreement, players will be freely moved between Tottenham and PSG as the owners see fit. Harry Kane will spend the rest of the season in Paris"

There's certainly some truth in this, at least there being some discussions. We'll see how far it goes, my guess not too far. But it's clear why they'd want to invest in Spurs: London, fancy stadium, solid financials, NFL and so on. United are more profitable but they need to invest in infrastructure and its more expensive. Spurs is a ready made club besides the footballing side.

Club will be sold as an all in one package of football, NFL, music and food.

Simple solution is to use their money against them.

Set up programs where for every million QSI put into the club, x amount is donated by fans/other entities to a cause that fights against the sort of things these guys are known for. Every league point won, fans volunteer an hour of their time at their local human rights watch office/freedom of the press fundraiser/etc. Every goal scored by the marquee signing, 10 000 flyers are distributed with more info.

If you can't beat 'em - let them beat themselves.

If someone can give ENIC 400m for 10% stake on the condition the 400m is solely spent on transfers in for the next 3 to 4 transfer windows then I'm in

Not sure about the Qatar links myself but i am more annoyed about the reporting that Levy is deliberately withholding the release of tax statements. Reports are that its to hide the war chest from fans but i am (maybe naively) hoping its more to hide how much we have to spend from clubs we are interested in buying from............
