The statement is bollocks. Sell your shit elsewhere. Get ENIC out of my club.
I had a look across various forums and social media and I think Levy has completely lost the fan base this time. It is going to be hard borderline impossible for him to get fans back on side at this point, there is simply no trust at all. I think he should step aside.

It was pathetic at this point no one wants to listen to the shit they are coming out with. Changing things constantly but failure continues. There is failure at the top and no one wants to listen to what they have to say anymore.

If things don’t go well, transfer/manager wise this summer, with fans back in the stadium, the atmosphere will be toxic come the start of next season.

I think we are already beyond that. While they remain failure will continue. The problems start higher up so need addressing there will be problems whoever the manager is.

You’re probably right! Agree we need change from the top down!

I know there is quite a bit of anti Levy/Enic sentiment in here but if we all truly believe that they are a company who is attempting to maximize the club's value, then consider how much they stand to lose if they "reach" for a coach and it fails again or let Harry go for a song. If they value the club at 2B? then another bad choice will wipe 100s of millions off the valuation. If they are the money grubbing owners some think they are, then it is likely that they will protect their investment. We're not talking chicken scratch (don't know if chicken scratch translates to the UK but it means a paltry some of money).

On the business side, there is something to admire. Eniic/Levy came up with a creative plan to play with the big boys without having the big boy money. They figured out how to create money that other clubs won't have access to whether it is an NFL game or concert, etc. And they even financed the stadium in a way that it wasn't and isn't a lodestone around the club's neck from a cashflow perspective.

Everything points to them wanting to play with the big boys. Compromising on the next manager hire would be a stupid business decision. Get it right and they might just keep Harry if they invest in players too. Above all, i believe Enic/Levy are good business people. They will attempt to protect their investment.

But be clear, I'm no BSoDL. There's good and bad with Enic/DL. What does need to happen is that Enic needs to have a diluted vote (if any at all) when it comes to footballing matters whether that is by giving more power to Hitchens or adding a DOF or some other mechanism. But I want them on the business side of the club as they have shown creativity and foresight there which has certainly increased our stature as a global brand which in part is what is required to have a sustainable financial model if you aren't a sheik or oligarch. While it might be contrary to others, I don't want oil or oligarch money if that is the only way to bring EPL championships. I'd like to think we're Tottenham. We're different. At least i hope we still are.
I understand what you're saying. It's simple pragmatism.

Perspective required. It looks as though we are about to finish outside the top six for the first time in over a decade. Never before in our near 140 year history have we had such a run of consistently high finishes.

Sure, the current mess is all on ENIC. But, by the same token, the previous decade and more of progress was also on them. You can’t pick and choose what to attribute to them.

It has been a shit season by our recent high standards, certainly. And a major overhaul of both the first team squad and the player recruitment & analytics department is required.

But let’s not act as though we’ve just been relegated.
You can thank Pochettino for the run of top 4 finishes. Other than him none of our recent managers have made anywhere near a run of anything. Actually we can’t thank him he is gone, some genius at the club sacked him and we are back on the manager Merry go round.

Is anyone else worried about the recent outburst from us and the media and think that this will make ENIC shut up shop even more and maybe provide a team worthy of European football if possible whilst they make money from the events and the American football etc and just keep things there now ? Just a thought ? I do wonder whether the last few weeks makes them think "Fuck them"
No

Why are we the only club that positions our fans in the nosebleeds so we can show off all that lovely advertising still?? And then not coming out to applaud those poor souls who forked out £60 for the privilege of watching that sh*t.

ENIC are an absolute disgrace and the club stinks because of them. Get out while you can Harry.

Very true. We have relegation form, guarantees toxity no matter who you are.

Anyone know Levy's email? I want to send one. A serious one, outlining what needs to be done this summer.

The club is all about the corporate and not about winning the culture at the club is lacking because it's not important to them.
This is as bad as it gets seeing the club sliding back to mid table land, Levy's statement is meaningless and hollow I for one have no trust in him or anyone at the club to get us back competing.

I actually think it'll pan out a bit differently. We'll appoint a new manager, which will inject a little bit of optimism and hope. Then we'll sign a few players, which will add a bit more and by the time the season starts, we'll be raring to go. The vitriol isn't scheduled to return for 12-18 months :D

Umm....no, we don’t. Not even close.

Since the beginning of March, we have played 12 PL games. Won 6, drew 2, lost 4. Goals scored, 23; goals conceded 16. A total of 20 points and a goal difference of + 7.

Over the course of a whole season, that form would earn us 61-62 points. Pretty much bang on where we are.

If you prefer an even more recent, smaller sample, over the past 6 games, we have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 2. Exactly the same average points.

I think this is part of the problem. Without in any way downplaying our relative decline over the past few seasons or the size of the task we face to get back to where we were, some fans are allowing their emotions to get the better of reason and fact. Hence why you, and probably others, are under the impression that we have “relegation form” when, in fact, it is nothing of the like.

they can't even point to infrastructure investment as an excuse as Leicester have built an insane training ground while winning two trophies we would kill to win. Willing to take my chances with a different owner
