We arent Halifax, the club is the 8th richest in the world.
Pay the money and they will come.
Because of a lack.of a forward a cl place was lost and now a europa league place could be as well.
How much money will.this cost the club, especially with the devlopment of players.

For all the ENIC supporters when do you actually see us winning things under their stewardship? How many managers are you going to blame before realizing the real issue? Is there a time, say another 5 or 10 years where you say maybe they’re the ones failing?
While I think they're as good a custodian as we could have gotten I don't think they've been reaching their potential on the football field and if that was to continue for the next 5 years, then I would prefer for them to move on and give someone another shot.

This analogy works in my head... I feel like Spurs under Enic are like a young player coming through the ranks gaining the necessary skills and fitness (finances) required to compete at the top level. They have been going through the age groups, with the odd appearance for the first team (Over achievements compared to our financial standing), but they've just recently become an integral member of the first team (Enough income to compete at the top table). Everybody expects them to play as if they're a seasoned pro, but the fact is that they're new to this level and it takes a few seasons for that consistency to be achieved. If they reach their potential, then that's awesome. If they don't, then they should be moved on much like an academy graduate that's good, but not great.......... and only if there's a better player, or one with more potential, available to take their place.

I know we are not Halifax but if being 8th richest means buying a player why didn't Man U get better than Igalo, it's because in the January window very few star players leave. star players play for the top teams unless you find an up and coming gem in a team midtable or battling relegation and the seller are desperate for the income otherwise they don't happen. can't remember the last real big transfer that happened in a January window

we are the 8th richest (was 14th when they took us over and 11th 2017) due to what we take into the club via TV monies, we have only just moved into a much bigger stadium which is included in that value along with its takings, we was also helped with the fact we got to the CL final. since we have moved in we have spent 150m and near on doubled our wage payout. we also suffered last season with the cost of the stadium delays which was a hefty amount, we also had to pay off around 26 people (only going by what someone told me) connected to Poch, and then pay al the new staff that have replaced them.

if we had stayed in the old stadium I doubt we would have ever cracked the top 10. I'm not even sure we would have been able to play within FFP if Abramovic had taken us over at the time ENIC did, and with Chelsea only having a 44k god knows what their wage bill is and how they manage to stay within it, though Abramovic has spent 1.86b since being there and the club is in debt to him to the tune of 1b I believe. he will never see that back unless he sells the club for 1b.

the season before we were the 10th richest, but due to the debt the stadium has set us back, the banks decide on how much we have available to spend on players taking into account their wages. the only way we can overspend is if JL (70%? not sure exactly because I think around 15% of shareholders didn't sell) and DL (15%) throw some wonga behind us and not hold it as a debt owed by the club. I know Levy received 6m 1 season, but he doesn't get that every season.

1 of the biggest problems we have today is what nutter out there would buy us for 2b+, and then spend the ½-1b to catch up and stay there. football was ruined by the intro of the PL, CL, and sky, and all at a time when we were seriously in the shit with debt.

what the club needs to do is get a better scouting system and a decent DoF that is my main gripe with the club, but I also think we had to be careful during the build and none of us know what money the banks would allow us with the stadium debt. if we had stayed in the old stadium we would have always had that problem in buying 1st team quality and being able to pay the wages that other clubs do, and then be able to keep them

Money doesn’t guarantee trophies but it isn’t coincidence that Chelsea and Man City’s history of winning trophies has been completely rewritten for the better by actually spending money on top talented footballers.

Unfortunately when we were saying this back in November nobody took any notice. Now look.

People are once again at each other's throats, anything that can be taken to a negative extreme will be, the sourness, bickering, abusing of certain players and the manager, the levels of toxicity have gone through the roof. And I don't think it's got as bad as its going to yet :D

We have been patient for 20 years with ENIC and Levy and i believe fans should remain patient for a further 5 years.

They have done a lot of good work for the club but have sadly been hampered by situations totally out of their control (Chelsea, City and PSG). They (and us) have also had some shoddy luck at critical moments such as lasagne, finishing 4th but missing out CL and conceding suspect penalty after 20 seconds in a huge fina; (which other clubs does this happen to?)

I genuinely believe the next 5 years will be their final and I think the hard work they have put in the club will be rewarded. I know people are upset they are paying premium prices but that is the reality of a club operating in London and attracting players of the calibre that we have seen over the past 10 to 15 years at least.

Now is the time, we support the bald-headed beauty and his super-rich friends and believe success is just around the corner. This is not the time to throw the toys out of the pram.

Well played Daniel Levy. As we know, getting concerts in the summer concert window is 'difficult' so it's nice to get one in early :D

I’ve been saying the same for weeks.

What we should be doing as a set of fans is getting behind the manager and the players now. Last night told me that they need the fans backing now more than ever. They’re shattered, out of form and out of confidence. I don’t think that will change until Kane and sissoko are back either unfortunately. Lose to West Ham and arsenal and I fear for the place, but for all of that just thank god SC isn’t like twitter!

Yep. Now is definitely not the time to judge them. If we are languishing mid table in 4/5 years time with no investment in the playing squad then I’ll be the the first to say their time is up. But I suspect we won’t be. Whether they appoint the right manager and buy the correct players is more anyone’s guess.

The first thing is to give the current manager the players to suit how he wants to play.

But can any of us see us beating west ham or arsenal probably not right now.
