Why won't Beckham ever play for England again? Personally I think he would walk into the team if he was fit. Haven't been impressed by anyone really so far. Beckham always gives it his all for England. You will do well to persuade me that Bentley or SWP are better options.

it was a fitness issue why he didn't get into the squad this time. Thats wht he will go and prove.

It might be a second rate league, but you can still show how good you are in them. Just look at Hutton for an example

Not even nearly in my opinion. Bentley has done well but hasn't been so good that he will stop a player who has twice the ability (even if only half the engine now) from getting in the team. Becks has put in countless performances for England that are far superior to anything Bentley has showed tonight.
