Okay so the squad has now been announced. Who would you start for England against Switzerland next Wednesday? My choice would be the following, in a 4-5-1 formation, based on current form

There's absolutely no height up front and neither Gerrard nor Barry is a ground ball passer. Don't really think the team can create many chances.

I can't believe Defoe isn't part of Capello's selection. He is usually always on at least the bench. Yet, Michael Owen IS included!

i'm gutted to see king in the squad. I want to see him announce his international retirement. Every time he goes and plays for Shitty england, he seems to picks up a serious knock. The lad shoud've learnt his lesson by now. England simply aren't worth hanging up his boots for.

You can't Barry and Hargreaves in the same team. They are both similar. I would put maybe Jenas in there alongside Gerrard if you were to play that formation.

Owen doesn't deserve a start, neither does Terry, or Lampard, on current form. If Capello wanted to make a statement, then he should have dropped Owen as well as Beckham.
