I would like Mr Levy to stop writing off peoples negative views on the prospect of a Straford Spurs as emotive. I'm not saying that those negative views are not emotive, of course they are, but he should not use that as a stick with which to beat us as without emotion, there is no football. Surely people attend football, support football, and spend hard earned money on football so that they can experience, hopefully, some joy. Sounds like an emotion to me. When I watch a match, I don't watch because so and so cost x amount, or because this stadium has these facilities, or because that player drives this car. I watch football because I love (hey, another emotion) football. I watch Spurs because I love Spurs and they bring me joy.
Sport is emotive. Football is emotive. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is emotive. The people who pay for the product do it for emotional reasons. If, Daniel, people to stop being emotive, then you can kiss goodbye any chance you have of filling the stadium in Stratford, because their love for the club and the emotion they feel for it is the one thing which will keep them going even after the betrayal of leaving Tottenham.
