i don't know about you, but Chris Kavanaugh screams of "well someone had to ref the final".

Glad to be proved wrong, if you can call it proved. That was too tight to be sure

How there aren’t better camera angles to view decisions like this is ridiculous.

That looked level to me

I'm a bit surprised because I'd expect this game to be a 24 camera production at least. I know VAR doesn't get every camera as some are for slow motion highlights and closeups only and VAR shouldn't need those but they should have a camera at a better angle than that.

£1bn to look second best against a Liverpool team missing 7 regulars.
True underdog story.

And the ref must’ve known he missed a yellow, Caceido then makes another blatant foul & gives him the golden opportunity to make amends and he still doesn’t!

So in the last 5 minutes, VAR has a) missed a clear red card on a disgusting studs up challenge & b) missed a clear onside goal.

I think the game in England would be better served by getting replacement refs for a few months next season & sending all the referees in PGMOL to a 6 month training course & they each have to ace the final exam to be able to ref again. Because it’s been obvious for years now that these refs have zero clue what they are doing & should all be fired.
