Not sure why people are talking like him not getting in the City team is a sign that he can't be that good.

They have Aguero, Negredo, Jovetic and Dzeko. Negredo is on great form and Aguero is at the peak of his ability.

Dzeko has 12 starts, 4 sub appearances and 9 goals this season in all competitions. He's more than good enough and he wants first team football.

Probably won't get him but definitely worth an enquiry.

no rumour is worth its salt now we don't have a manager. it would be foolhardy IMHO to purchase anyone without the new man in place.

No point waiting until the new manager asks for Moutinho and gets Dempsey on deadline day, may as well cut out the middle man.

Are City going to pay ¾ of his £175pw wages? I don't think so

The whole point to having a director of football is so that signings can happen without the need for a manager to worry themselves.
Baldini is not stupid, he will see what the team needs and he will also be looking simply for propsects as well.

A manager is not the be all and end all to our signing strategy, clearly the opposite. If Baldini and Levy thought Dzeko was available at the right price, no sane manager would turn down the chance to have their striking reinforcements bolstered by such a quality player.

Never going to happen, he just signed a new contract plus we can't afford his transfer fee or wages.

Move on.
