Regardless if you think he is or isn't what we need its worth keeling in mind that the article that links us mentions that his likely destination is City so I wouldn't get too attached to the idea.

You wonder where he’d fit at City though. With Grealish and Doku as the guys on the left.

Well he's a 10 so he will be rotation option for KDB would be my guess. Would make a lot of sense for them as they visibly struggle when KDB doesn't play so to have another quality option in that position would help a lot especially as KDB probably doesn't have much longer left in the PL.

I don't think you can replace KDB with a traditional 10. He doesn't really play that traditional 10 role at all, same as Bellingham this season at Madrid.

I mean nobody can really replace KDB as he’s one of a kind but his role within City has changed and adapted over the seasons. That is the luxury of having a player that is so dangerous from a creative and goal scoring perspective. He is still more of a creative hub then Bellingham is at RM tho who has even been played as a CF at times this season. Next season City will have Doku and Savio as wing options who are both fast, wide aggressive runners so that will allow for a more traditional minded 10 to sit in midfield. After all Pep likes to have players that offer different skill sets so I’d still expect Eze to take up the “10” role when KDB doesn’t play even if he doesn’t play in exactly the same manner as KDB.

KDB is massive for City, there isn’t another player in world football ⚽️ anything like him.

Eze is class, we could play him LW or n.o 10 but imo we really need a top class RW, but Eze would give us something we don’t have currently.

I really want to be wrong, but I don't think we're shopping in this market. Reckon he'd have his pick of teams and can't see many of those passing him up, providing financial constraints would allow them to sign him.

We’re weaker on the left than we are on the right. Not sure if Eze is the player we need for LW but he’s a fantastic player, if we lost GLC and PEH and replaced them with Eze then it would be great business. Lots of games next season so would prefer him to rotate with Maddison than be our LW option.

Anyone else see AP going straight over to Eze straight after shaking Glasners hand and passing through other players to do it?
