I left at the whistle and didnt stay for the first time in a long time.... was told that only around 25% of the fans stayed to watch the team parade round the pitch. Apparently they played a season highlights video, which was met with a muted response..

It certainly wasn't anything to write home about.

Still, we did get to see a rare sighting of Lamela, was beginning to think I'd imagined that we'd signed him last season. There's been more sightings of Nessie in the last few months than there has been of Lamela

Would be great if anyone who did stay can point out anything interesting that they saw. Hopefully Danny Rose was waving a lot.

They got a round of applause. We did finish 6th after all. Not the worst lap of honour we've had.

"Muted" probably best described the atmosphere. Still, yesterday was a good reminder of the potential this team has.

The season has been blighted by numerous mistakes - by the players, by the managers, by the chairman (and the DoF). Everyone carries their fair share of the blame for a 'wasted' season. In fairness to Tim, whether you like him or not, he has done his best and he has done it with passion. He's made a lot of mistakes (not least with that ridiculous cameo at the end of yesterday's game) but then again, he's been asked to do a job that he had no experience of, in the full bright light of the media circus that is the Premier League, and by and large, he has kept the ship afloat. For that at least, I think he deserves a significant amount of credit.

Is he the right man for the job? Probably not, but there are worse candidates. At least he truly wants to be the manager of this great club (unlike van Gaal) and he's passionate about Spurs (unlike FdB, Ponchietto and the rest - bar Hoddle).

First time I haven't stayed for years. Don't think the players give two shits, so don't see why I should this year either.

Really disappointed that we were out sung for the whole match by the hilarious villa fans. The shitty fan support could have something to do with the shitty season.

The only thing that stood out for me was that Adebayor came around after the main group (about a whole minute after) and was hugging and high fiving fans at the front of the stands. Which may suggest he could be off.

Don't get me started. I was park lane lower next to them. Felt embarrassed the whole second half. Everything just feels so limp and stale, boring chants and silence. Well done to those who tried to get it going. 'Oh when the spurs' should be dropped when we find another decent club chant. Is becoming 'bubbles' and the jazz hands, man and his dog singing it, doesn't help.

Or it could suggest he's just happy because
He got back into the team.
We won the game
The season is over.
He gets 175k or whatever it is a week.

I stayed.
Couple of observations,
there was no booing there were cries of bruute ti Sandro.
Ade was late out after the others I did say maybe it's a goodbye but he might just have been in the bog.
The villa fans all through the game had something to shout and sing about and they did, pretty much constant abuse at their team and their club for 90 minutes, I can do without matching that thanks, had enough of it in the nineties.
There were less staying than usual but players aren't daft they know this has been an up and down season but where I was they knew it was genuine and its in no way the worst lap I've been to.
It is however the only one I've been to with two giant squirrels sitting in the away fans area.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
