Started well and pressed and harried, got into good areas and played some nice passes. But fuck me is he slow, got chased down by the panzer tank Sule and he dawdles on the ball, takes too many touches and kills attacks stone dead so many times

Is it a lack of confidence or over confidence? A run of games in his best position (the middle of the 3 in a 4-2-3-1) and we will soon see, but do we have that luxury? All I know is I’d rather see him than Eriksen, but I’d rather Lamela in there over both of them

I'm sorry but if I have to watch him strolling around, making the occasional nonchalant flick like he's Zinedine fucking Zidane one more time, I'm going to visit Oak Furniture Land and flip every table they have. Sort it out, Dele.

Dele looked like his old self in that first half. Ran out of steam though it was noticeable when he went off that no one was making runs into the box and our movement up front became static. I think as he gets fitter we will see the best of Dele again

So what are you suggesting??
He is part of the problem because his contribution is negiable at best. Currently he’s a waste of a shirt and we can’t afford to carry any passengers.
There are better options..Moura, Lamela and Eriksen are more effective and yes even Eriksen!

Lol. Son scored yes but missed loads. I am starting to get the hate Alli campaign because unfortunately if he's not scoring people like your good self can't work him out.

Son runs his nuts off. Zero comparison. If you dont run your nuts off you need to produce high returns in assists and goals

Son runs fast yes but I bet Alli covers more ground...beside the point he made a world class run and found by Toby just did get the final bit right... It will come.

Started well yesterday then faded, more to do with the team and the setup than him tbh.

We have to play him into form and he deserves more minutes than Eriksen, but Lamela should be the first AM on our team sheet at the moment.

I've been watching Spurs for over 40 years, and even with a so called lack of football knowledge, I can recognise players who ain't pulling their weight and Alli sit firmly in this camp. He currently offers nothing.. goals, creativity, ball retention, effort and he is running around like someone with a piano on their back. I don't hate him, but he's a big worry due to his non-existent contributions..

He was gravy in the first half. Effortless movement, vision, creativity for the most part. So fluid. He looked very much like the trequartista that Poche and we crave.

But when we needed to pull our socks up in the second half he literally didn't know where to go. At one point I saw Kane angrily pointing at where he wanted to Dele to go, and Dele was shrugging. He then floated into somewhere around the centre circle and lost all influence on the game.

He was rightly hooked.

I just don't think he's that good and hasn't improved since his break out season with us.
What ever. Look at Gnarby. We all now Alli has the talent. You can't judge Dele on that team performance, what was he suppose to do? Son had many chances and should of scored a hat trick in the first half. You compare his finishing to BM
