If someone were to make a 40M bid for him, would you want the club to accept the money and boot him out, or do you value him a lot higher or do you think he is priceless?

Personally, I'm not his biggest fan. He's a luxury player that needs the right support to shine. We don't have it. So, a lot of the time, he flounders. So, yes, as unpopular as it may sound, I wouldn't be opposed to letting him for a min of 40M.
You will not get Dele's out put for £40M, goals assists workrate.

But I didn’t call him shit in my post? ?‍♂️ (and don’t believe I have ever called him shit either, come to think of it I don’t think I’ve called a player shit lol just said they’re not very good).

And my frustration over Dele would be as you said with the manager for continually sacrificing balance in the team for the return we are not getting from Dele at the moment.

If he’s playing poorly he should be benched, same as with Kane (if we actually ever manage to get another proper centre forward!).

Continually playing players who are off form is something that has blighted us in recent times (and as an England fan had been a problem there too although Southgate seems to be remedying this at the moment).
Maybe you haven't but there are few who have called him that. Maybe he should be benched but with Son suspended for the last three games I don't see that was an option and with Kane now injured I don't see it happening for the foreseeable future.

Wonder if we’ll see a more effective Dele playing alongside a quicker and more mobile strike partner in Son or Lucas.

In the modern game the traditional "no 10" is struggling due to tactical evolution, you only have to look at Ozil, Mata, Siggy etc.

Dele is an effective player who is not as aesthetically pleasing as the "no 10" of old

He presses, he creates and he scores. He is a modern "no 10"

p.s Lucas scored the goals and is loved, but which player was at the centre of 2 of those goals in the Ajax game?

p.s.s he was physically spent in the Soton game but was still trying to run in the 90th minute, he would have been rotated out if 3 of our players did'nt get themselves suspended stupidly.

Think it would be interesting to play him as the no.9 while.harry is out. Keep. Son on left.
I still go back to that period 2 years ago when we played Swansea away in the cup and Chelsea and a couple of other games and the fluidity between Son, Lamela, Alli and Eriksen was a thing of beauty with Kane out of the team. Harry stepped back in and we became more rigid in our play.

I think it could work if the Manager has the ability to allow them the tactics to succeed.

Think Dele is very talented, no one is looking great with long ball big Sam tactics.

I'd play him in Harry kanes position now with son , Lucas and lamela

Agree with this. Think he could be very effective as a kind of false number 9

Whilst it's better to keep him as far away from the build up play as possible in a sense, the last thing we want is Dele on the end of or the main target of all the moves we create IMO, if we actually ever manage to create anything.

He still needs to have someone in front of him so he can use that player to run in behind and pick up pockets of space. I dread to see him as the furthest forward player.

I would definitely go with what @ILS said in having Son, Dele, Lamela and Eriksen as the starters, think that's what we went with away to Chelsea when we won 3-1. That way it keeps Lucas out of the side too which is necessary as he can't seem to remember that his teammates are the Spurs players and not the other side.

What irks me the most is his outright refusal to use his left foot. So one-footed and predictable.

I love Dele but he's miles away from being a world class talent. There is no consistency in his game currently. I have hope as we've seen more consistency in the past but if he's to fulfill his potential he's got to cut out these kind of performances.

At least cut out a few of them.

I think it’s time we faced up to the possibility that he’s not that good. He’s a player who we should be improving on, not building the team around.

Not sure anyone could convince me he is anything but an average footballer to be honest. All these stats etc from two years ago blah blah blah. For over two years the guy has been rank average and doesn’t even get mentioned for England, it’s just accepted he isn’t good enough for that squad.

Simply put, for me, I’d prefer Maddison, Grealish, Mount and Cantwell over him if we are talking English players. He has drastically declined in two years, it’s mad to see really. The last player I witnessed do this was Theo Walcott. Had the world at his feet, two years later and everyone was fed up of him as he did one good thing every 4/5 matches.
