You mean a poor finish and that Hoddlesque pass to Aurier? Just a tap in for Aurier right?

But I guess you are right it was the best he did all game.
He had a decent game not the worst player on the pitch not the best. Did equally as well as Moura and Bergwijn

When he gets his imminent ban after that racism comment I will be happy to read what the clappers will be saying about Tottenham's favourite bad boy doing shit... again!

I never said he was the worst player on the pitch, I said he has the potential to be the best, but instead we are discussing if he is on par with someone like Lucas.

You might say it is unfair to have a different standard for Alli, but he should be one of our core players based on his potential. When everyone are healthy Lucas doesn't play.

If we sell Lucas we would get 20-30m. If we sold Alli (at least earlier) we would be talking 60+.

So I do expect more from him than someone new to the league and Lucas. Bergwijn's biggest issue is that he clearly isn't fit enough to play as much as he is. Not unusual for a guy new to the league. Not sure what Alli's excuse would be. He has been fairly healthy and seems to be in good health so..

Love the great argument of "if X is also bad we can't criticise Y"
you can criticize whomever you like. I just wonder why, for some, its always Dele when there are worse players in the side. and today, good god, Dele had nothing to do with that diabolical defensive effort.

Perhaps it's because we are in Dele's topic ?

You said he had "another shitshow" earlier did other players also?

Def, did you not see your defense today ? Tanganga clearly the worst of all...

So the attack did reasonable well scoring a couple of goals against a good Wolves team. Even with Dele's Shitshow that doesn't make sense.

But Lucas did?

Lucas is another scapegoat, but he looked bright at times today. He opened up space really well a few times. He just has his limitations which are clear to see.

We just done have an attacking unit or plan currently, so it’s unfair to single out any individuals at the moment really.

well thats the point I suppose. The expectations on Dele are much higher. And thats the unfair part to me. They should be higher but by admitting that you are acknowledging his quality. Its fine to say he hasnt been at his best lately but some of the criticism is OTT.

Don’t get this hatred for Alli at all. If his header had gone in which it deserved to do that would have been 3-1 and I believe game over.

Both him and Dier seem to be the main targets this Season. Yes both have been abject at times but yesterday neither were the worst players on the pitch. In fact both had reasonable games I thought

Hatred? If you read my posts you really won't find much hatred. But I guess you find what you are looking for.

Only "hatred" I have showed is similar to what Alli showed Bergwijn.

How is it hatred? He hasn't played anywhere near his too level for over a year and if you go to games you'll know he's given a lot of love. Yesterday I heard his song 3/4 times. He is poor, his attitude is a joke and he's largely a passenger. If he put as much effort into playing as he did sagging off Stevie or winks we might have got a point or two.
