I wouldn't begrudge Hugo a final big pay day and practically guaranteed silverware in his home country.

We should have irons in the fire regarding his replacement anyway regardless of PSG/Poch, he isnt getting any younger etc.
Not sure if it’d be possible but would love to try and get donnaruma who’s contract expires this season

One of Mino Raiola’s I think which makes things complicated. Perhaps Nick Pope in the Summer if we have the cash from Lloris? Lloris to PSG seems likely assuming Poch is confirmed and as others have said I wouldn’t begrudge him the move.

Don't believe this is a reliable source and it is educated guesswork over reporting.

My understanding is Utd see Henderson as a successor to De Gea. I can't see them selling him to us.
De Gea has got years left in him.

I dont see Henderson sitting around when he is a proven player.

Not saying we want/or will sign him by the way.

Why not? They get a better goalie and the French international captain
I wouldn’t say he’s better plus Navas was unreal at Madrid. I assume he’s been good for PSG too?

I mean it makes sense..but I’d say goal keeper will be pretty low on the priority list for PSG to resolve
Big time. Don’t think they’d be in any rush to sign a keeper but I suppose it would be useful for Poch to have a few fits he can trust in the team.

Have to admit I’m not a Henderson fan, made quite a few mistakes at SUtd last season and hasn’t really cut it when given a chance at MUtd.

Martinez looks like the kind of keeper that most teams should want (I think he's behind their league position tbh) which makes it even weirder that Arse happily sold him.

Massively agree, he looked decent when he stepped in for Arsenal last year and has looked good for Villa this year. Couldn’t understand why they sold him unless he gave an ultimatum about being first choice.

Navas was good for Madrid, and still is for PSG. He’s not at Hugo’s level. Don’t forget that he’s never had to be as involved in the game as Hugo because he’s played for utterly dominant sides.

Anyway, I sincerely hope there’s nothing in this and Hugo at the very least stays for a final season next year, or renews for a couple of seasons. However, he may well feel that a return home is beckoning, and if that is the case then Henderson would be a great long term replacement but not one I can see Utd happily selling to us.

Hugo Lloris is a world class goalkeeper, and IF he should leave for PSG in the summer, we would need a world calss goalie to replace him. How many of those are around and available?

Neither Liverpool nor the two Manchesters would ever sell their first choice goalies to us. Neither would the players want to come, I guess.

Jan Oblak at Atletico Madrid is the obvoius choice to me. Born in 1993, he is still only 27 and should have plenty of years left at the very top of his game.

Donnarumma of AC Milan is incredibly only 21 y.o. Now living up to his early promise (debuted at 16 in Serie A!) for what looks like a title winning AC Milan, there´s little chance he would join us as Milan´s Chinese owners are looking to invest to bring the club back to former levels of glory in Italy and Europe. They´re not likely to sell the "new Buffon" to anyone.

Not world class goalies (yet), but PL-proven that we could/should look at would be Pope, Henderson and Martinez.

If Lloris is to leave we'd most likely go for Mike Maignan, his understudy in the french national team, who has worked with our gk coach before.

He's only got 6 months left on his contract

If PSG wants Lloris (and if he wants to go there), we can swop with Areola.

What the fuck are we going to do with the small circular area, in particular the ring of pigmented skin surrounding a nipple in goal. Pervert.

I wouldn't define 'small'. An ex of mine had massive coffee rings.
