Deadwood / Reason to be optimistic

So much deadwood in this squad and that gives me optimism and concern at the same time, If we can shift the likes of Naughton, Dembele, Townsend, Paulinho and Capoue and pick up £30-£40 million and add in 2 top players like Schneiderlin and Bony/Benteke, A lot of our problems would be solved.

However, some of these players are taking the piss and don't want to leave...down to Levy offering them really good contracts and the London life.

Include Adebeyor, Soldado and Lamela in that list.

We also need a real leader and then agreed a decent CM and 2x strikers.

Amazing how Capoue has become deadwood now that he was given a chance.

Chadli and Eriksen are the only two who have proven themselves as able performers, and they were the cheap ones.

Hope this Southampton chap can sort us out, he said a big key to their transfer policy is buying players that fit with the club and managers philosophy and attitude, that is something we've stopped doing recently, we've lost our identity and need to get it back.
