It's going to be bumper tomorrow - seriously wondering how on Earth I'm going to get any work done!I think we'll be busy enough tomorrow and we'll end up improving the squad.

To my knowledge a fee is agreed and the loaning team is free to pay that amount during any point of the loan. How do the sell on clauses work in these loan deals? I know each loan deal will be different and contracts will reflect that...but does a sell on clause at a certain price guarantee we can activate that option at the end of the season or something?

I'm viewing my office simply as free internet tomorrow
Providing it's a TW yeah I think.Really? So we could snap him up at any point and United would be powerless to prevent it? Assuming we agree these terms in the first instance.
No excuse!I sit next to my boss FFS
If he doesn't then he's going to have to hope and pray that Adebayor, Kane and Soldado do the business and that is far too great a risk even for LevyI really can't see Daniel levy paying £2 million for a loan deal. Doesn't sound like a thing he'd do.
Holiday in the states so I can just have some beers, sit back, and watch the fireworks.I'm viewing my office simply as free internet tomorrow

I do absolutely love transfer deadline day and often it's the hope that kills you but after what was novel watching it through Sky, I can't fucking stand their coverage and all the no-mark wannabe presenters with Jim White given presidential treatment.
Fuck off.
I hope so. Although Fraizer Campbell popped into my head when I read your post!If he doesn't then he's going to have to hope and pray that Adebayor, Kane and Soldado do the business and that is far too great a risk even for Levy
Still wouldn't do it for only one year. No ability to make money off that and we're not a club that requires loans to avoid relegation and the like.
Makes no sense unless there's a sell on clause.
One of the reasons that I also think that Welbeck would be a good signing is that against the top teams, that will attack us down the flanks, he's also defensively solid. He really works to get back, defend and keeps the opposing full-back honest. We just don't have that at the moment as our wide players have all the cutting edge of a plastic spatula.I hope we're still going for Welbeck tomorrow if we're going for Rodriguez - which certainly explains why we're wanting to loan Welbeck.

The fact that he would also provide an attacking threat for Lamela and Eriksen to work with is a bonus on top.
Totally agree mate.
Think he would compliment our system very well.
Seems like Townsend and Lennon out...Rodriguez and Welbeck in.
