Tottenham's greatest weakness in the transfer market will always hinder them each year until they can improve their recruitment decisions, starting this summer for Ange Postecoglou.

tl;dr - It's an absolute ramble of an "article", which starts off moaning we haven't wholesale sold our entire squad then... yeah, it just rambles to literally no point. It uses the phrase "for example" a LOT, and after about thirty paragraphs, it summarises with

The key this summer to any success is building a squad that Postecoglou can flourish with rather than one the Australian simply has to wrangle and make do with.

Oh... FANKS!! WE HAD'N FORT OF DAT! :|

I am very curious how this sort of article ends up being published, let alone it's own thread on this forum, being honest.

Has to keep churning out new articles for the potential revenue from ad clicks is the only reason I can think of. That conveyor belt has to keep on going for him to bring money in.

Also thank you for the tldr, I tried reading that article and the site is an absolute dumpster fire on my mobile so I gave up (it never used to be that bad for me in terms of ads and usability)

What I did read though was an absolute ramble like you said. I reckon Ali Gold must be loving chatgpt, he could probably churn out a years worth of filler articles like this with it in the same time it would normally take him to write a months worth 😂

I've just wasted my time reading this. I implore you to not do the same. Just punch yourself in the throat and move on; it'll be far more enjoyable.

I won't read it but that's a shame. Ali was a great poster on here and often provides much better insight than what you're suggesting here.

Some of his articles are really good, but others seem to be stating the obvious or turning a non-story into a full article just for the sake of publishing something.

One of the old skool members. I remember when he started doing his website. Good luck to him I say.

I've got nothing against Ali at all, the pressure he's likely under to get pieces out is high, but this article feels like someone has just aggregated Spurs Chat. Truth is I didn't even notice it was written by Ali, it came across less as the sort of informative or thought provoking article and more a frustrated ramble.

The Football London titles though are very strange, they seem to go all mystic meg in the titles but if you're going to have a vaguely click baity headline, at least fill in the blanks early doors. I've read it and I'm still not entirely sure what Levy's biggest weakness is? I think it's not getting money's worth on resale but it could be just not moving on players?

To be fair it must be a nightmare being a footy journalist in the off season. You have to write x number of articles a week but outside of transfer rumours not a lot is happening and you haven't yet got access to interview Ange or players.
