I can testify to their quality as well. My youngest (16months) has three (all home kit) of them all bought by different friends & family.

I posted back of house yesterday regarding Sarr and what Conte thinks of him. Says he has a much higher ceiling than Skipp and although he says he has a few flaws he needs to work hard on Conte really likes him.

I still think Skipp could be a good solid player for us, but he is awful when he gets forward.

Not sure why Conte tried to get him to be a box to box midfielder (I do, because we didn't have any... )

Sarr just looks a talent on the ball and works hard off it.

Conte wants a strong 14 players(?) With some younger back up option. I think Skipp and Sarr can be the back up options for now.

Has so many good qualities just needs game time to show them and grow.

Interesting to note, Dier back in the middle with Romero to his right and a n other to his left, not had that for some time, and we get a clean sheet.

No doubt our 3 best CB’s on the pitch tonight. Romero, Lenglet, Dier, in that order. We still need to change that though because if any of those 3 aren’t fit it’s a BIG drop off

Just what we needed and well played. We can talk about styles of play all day long but for me at this level, it's absolutely key you don't continually go behind in games due to individual mistakes. Nowadays, teams in the EPL are so much better organised and have better players in them so when you do go a goal behind, most of the time you've got to really fight to get back into the game. You simply cannot have so many games where you fall behind due to a mistake and then find yourself having to get back into the game. Can be the best coach in the world but continually making individual miskakes completely undermine your plans.

Almost forgotten how it felt to score the first goal but it makes such a difference to the teams mentality and confidence.

Fuck it, I'm going to the Portsmouth game on Saturday. Haven't been since the Watford game at the end of Poch's time and I was absolutely ready to write off the twenty quid and stay up here in Norfolk with my wife/sister. Fuck knows how I'm going to get there with the trains but if we can perform like the 2nd half then it'll be worth it.
