Happy for Gil , who IMO was our best player in first half, even though he did give away once or twice. Whole game, he kept stretching the play, which gave all the more space for Doherty.

Felt this worked very well for us ultimately in 2nd half.

Wow! Never saw that coming at half time. Not wanting to do the result down, but I was staggered how Palace approached the game, especially against us. So passive.

But that said, a fantastic result, and great finishes and motm performance from Kane. And maybe the most important goal of the night by Sonny, if it can kick start his season.
A mention for Gil and Sarr as well. Gil looked so lightweight first half, but really showed he could offer something in the 2nd.
And good to see Sarr now getting some minutes, I thought he did ok.

I don't get to go to many games any more, (family/work commitments etc) but I'm going to this AND because it's my best mate's birthday (massive Palace fan) we're sitting in the Palace end. I'm looking forward to this game in the same way a turkey looks forward to Christmas.

Pray for me...

Prayers do come true ?

So pleased for you.

Not a great birthday for your mate.

I hope you jumped up wildly with each of our goals!

Now I know what I have to do for Spurs to win;
Have a(n otherwise) winning accumulator with a Spurs loss/draw
With a loss or draw tonight as all other results correct I am up £300-£500...

And for one second I didn't want any other result. (y)

Now if it had been £3-5k... :cautious:

Perisic once again assist king - today is 8th assist in 17 starts (PL & CL) of the season.
Only need another RWB on another side doing the same

Interesting to note, Dier back in the middle with Romero to his right and a n other to his left, not had that for some time, and we get a clean sheet.

Hope Conte sees what Sarr and Gil bought to the team and realises he can be a bit more adventurous with his team selections when the first choice eleven is hit by injuries and the backups aren't performing.

Royal was naff when he came on and we suddenly looked quite vulnerable down that side but the fans booing and jeering him are an embarrassment.
I posted back of house yesterday regarding Sarr and what Conte thinks of him. Says he has a much higher ceiling than Skipp and although he says he has a few flaws he needs to work hard on Conte really likes him.

Brillant, Doherty at RWB, Sarr at CM and Gil at AM are three brand new players for Antonio to use. No need to check the market. :playful:

Thanks mate.

I deserve an Oscar for the way I sat there in silent, sombre commiseration after the fourth goal went in. Even fucking Pacino would have broken character by then and been jumping up and down with his dick out!

When they started singing bring on the arsenal I was like...

:):cautious::sick::sneaky:(y)(n):unsure::(:mad::joyful::confused::hungry::wtf:
Might have to consider some medication for that game...
