MSP Sports Capital’s interest in Tottenham is genuine and the private equity group is actively conducting due diligence ahead of a takeover campaign.

Rumours that Glazers don’t want to sell are interesting…Liverpool and utd off the market would make our situation easier

I'm losing track of who's who, when it comes to all these different folk looking at clubs.
Who are this lot? Is this the one led by that American/Iraqi guy?

The 'American/Iraqi' guy is actually an Iranian-American, Jahm Najafi, who is also a part-owner of the Phoenix Suns NBA team.

We need shot of Levy pronto. Just saw this article on the BBC:

Never mind buying a new goalkeeper or CB but he reckons what the club really needs is a new karting track built underneath the stadium. It’s never, ever about the football for ENIC.

It’s not even 1st April ffs!!

I'm sorry but this is really smooth brain stuff.

Commercial activities like this are revenue generators which means the club makes money. Money that can then be invested in... oh I dunno a centre back and a goal keeper.

Mate, I am 48 at the minute and I’m gonna have to wait until I’m at least 150 by which time ENIC will have turned White Hart Lane in to fucking Disneyland and might then consider strengthening the areas of the squad that obviously need to be strengthened.

I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember and Levy has now wasted 23 years of my spurs supporting life. I dunno about you but I reckon that is long enough. I’m done with the waiting. If he is more interested in building hotels and karting fucking tracks than building a team capable of challenging for honours then he has no business running our club. Time for ENIC to go.

Do you actually think we aren't buying players because of this?

We have to maximise commercial activities to compete. Both go hand in hand.

Things like this are where Levy excels and it's nothing but a brilliant deal for the club.
If we could just keep him away from the footballing side, I'd be perfectly happy with him running everything else.

And this is another thing that will bring fame to the club and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Bringing more publicity and money from the naming rights, when we decide it's right for it.

Yep far better to leave the space this is going to occupy empty and gathering cobwebs.

We are buying players but the bare minimum. We got Danjuma and Porro on loan in Jan but clearly also needed a GK, 2CBs and a playmaker as well. We have been constantly told that the new stadium would be the game changer for us. Great, it’s built now and the revenue streams have increased massively. But now it’s all about building a hotel and karting track. There is always something else. Building a squad capable of challenging is yet again playing second fiddle. Don’t see Arse building any karting tracks etc but they have still managed to significantly back their manager over the last few seasons.

Or a hotel and houses, we could then get 2 CB's and 2 goalkeepers!!!

This sort of thing won't be coming out of the playing staff budget, pretty sure it'll be an entirely separate thing.

How much is it going to cost to turn this empty space in to a karting track Trix? 50m? 100m? And how long is it going to take to get a return on that investment? You are talking years.

And I’d just like to celebrate us winning the league before I pop my clogs!

I doubt it's going to cost anything like that tbh, but it's not just about that is it. It's about teaming up with yet another world wide recognised brand, it's about the people coming through the door and spending money at the club shop will be selling F1 licensed gear, it's about attracting more sponsorship and making the stadium even more valuable as far as possible naming rights.

Look I'm the first to criticise Levy regarding the football stuff, but the man is a genius when it comes to the commercial side of things, and making money.
