Spare a thought for former member Bus Conductor….. he’s still catching up with the 1966 World Cup final.

Denver is going to be pretty angry when he sees all these posts about him. Then he will get mad at himself for having his mood spoiled.

He probably had a bad experience when he was a kid and found out there was no Santa Cl...

Oops. Never mind.

Twitter aggregators running that Ornstein has said on Sky Sports that "Tottenham may be able to get a deal for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher sorted before the end of the transfer window."

Great work lads. I last checked this thread around 10pm last night so the updates from the literal next post onwards has had me in tears 😂

Ornstein's usually on the money when his news aligns with my biases.

I suspect this is just him flapping his gums on sky sports. They need things to talk about.

“We could get a deal done for him before the end of the window” is pretty non-comital. Is it new info? Has anything changed? I’m doubtful.

Exactly. Using “could” is also a complete cop out and verging on serious click bait. In theory I “could” tongue punch Monica Bellucci in the fart box. Likelihood is low though.

The only way this deal happens is if Chelsea blink first and offer him to us. They want around £50m which they're not getting from anyone.

If they do come to us, it means they are desperate and it will put us in the driving seat.

We aren't really desperate for him either, he'd be a good upgrade on PEH or Skipp, but we are stacked at CM when Biss and Sarr are back, so the balls in their court really.
