We rested the majority of our key players, and gave others crucial experience.

They can't keep playing two games a week with just the full backs rotating, we have to rest them at some point.

I was going to say, hoops will be waiting a while if he wants a trophy, more chance of me awarding sky a medal for fair and unbiased punditry.

Our goal is clearly stay in the champions league at keep qualifying at any cost, even trophies, we seem allergic to winning them.

How is it the right decision if we lost the game?

The club's approach to squad management is absolutely appalling and it's been this way for most of the decade.

This whole approach had been an abject failure, playing weakend tournaments in the cup tournaments hasn't yielded any of the supposed benefits.

We have consistently collapsed in the latter stages of the league campaign, it happend during the Redknapp years and it happened last year.

And yet so many still want this approach, still think that it's a necessity, it is utterly bizarre.
