Its sad because he is one of the best managers we have had and he gave us some special moments but I think its right time. This season looks to be a tough one to he able to get top 4 now so bringing in a manager now may give them half a season to sort out what they want to do with the squad before we go again next season.

Having said all that, if Levy doesnt back whoever he brings in, we will go into the vicious circle of rotating doors for managers like Chelsea/United have had in recent seasons.

I think that this decision makes Harry Kane more likely to stay with us in the short/medium term, and therefore it's another reason to justify this being the right thing to do.

Sad that it has ended this way, but who can say they are honestly surprised, our form has been abysmal for around twelve months, and he’s lost the dressing room by all accounts.

He should have gone after the Brighton game imo. Hopefully we can salvage something out of this season now.

Fuck me. I still have absolutely no idea what wrong and how such a great squad atmosphere came crashing down.

The timing of this is so odd it makes me think we’ve got someone ready to take over, sadly I think it’s mourinho

He’s gonna immediately be a manager of one of the top probably 5 clubs in the world but he wasn’t good enough for Spurs anymore? Fucking morons.

Bayern must be absolutely loving life right now

I so wanted him to pull it around but I just could not see it happening and regrettably it is the correct decision.

I love you, Mauricio for everything you have done for my club.

Fuck you cowards, I'll say it. This was the right decision, we couldn't go on with whatever the fuck was going on. If we left it too late the season would be unsalvageable.

We have a chance to move on now, depending on what Levy has up his tiny sleeve.
Stop kidding yourself, the season is unsalvageable. Hence why a large proportion of us wanted to see the season out with Poch.

Even though it had become inevitable, this is an unbelievably sad, painful, gut-wrenching moment. Tears in my eyes.

Awful decision unless there’s something going on behind the scenes, this is the saddest day I’ve had as a Spurs fan. He deserved loyalty and we’ve shown him none.

Wherever he ends up I hope he wins the trophies he deserves.

Not gonna lie, shocked and gutted. Hope its the right call. If Jose comes in Levy must be changing the way he operates in the transfer market.

Really sad for him. But things weren't right, where they?

Thanks for the good time Poch.

C'est la vie. We move on.

One bad season and he's sacked, what a disgrace.
We've been in near-relegation form, 25 points from 24, since January. A bad season is 6th, we're headed for 16th if we don't improve. It's sad, but there was zero sign of a turnaround and clear dressing room unrest.
