Our recent recruit from Steaua Bucharest answered questions from fans via @SpursOfficial after training.
Vlad, who captained Romania in two World Cup qualifying matches on Friday and Tuesday, covered a number of topics including thoughts on his move to Spurs, targets for the season and his love of a good old full English breakfast!

@JonathanSandy98: Dear Vlad, do you have special reason why did you chose Tottenham Hotspur as your destination?
Vlad: "I love English football and Tottenham is a big club with a big history."

@realdealdanny: Are you aware Kasabian have a song about you? (Vlad the Impaler)
Vlad: "Ha-ha, yeah it's a big legend in Romania, Vlad the Impaler. It's nice that I have a nickname!"

@JackTHFC_: What do you believe the squad is capable of achieving this season?
Vlad: "I hope to play lots of games and why not, maybe we can challenge at the top of the league."

@Beau_welch: What do you think of the training ground and all of the facilities?
Vlad: "It's something incredible. A big difference to Romania and it's very nice."

Matt: Have you tried much British food yet? And if so what do you like most?
Vlad: "Yes, I like a full English breakfast so I think this is my favourite."

@seanphathaway: Do you like vampires?
Vlad: "Erm, no, I don't like them."

@kieranainslie: You look very comfortable on the ball, do you also play midfield and do you think you are suited to the physical nature (of the game) here?
Vlad: "I played midfield for just two or three games so my favourite position is defender."

@BenCeej: Can we look forward to some flamboyant goals from you like the one against Molde?
Vlad: "Yeah I hope so. If I play I hope to score nice goals."

And the final question for Vlad is from @unni__: How do you like living in London?
Vlad: "It's a big and nice city. I've visited four or five times and I know this city quite well and like very much. Thank-you for your questions!"
