You're calling me a dick. You're slap bang in the middle
Step outside and say that again.

And just like that [poof] the argument was gone.? it’s my opinion. I don’t rate Sissoko. I’m allowed to state my opinion fella.
That's just ... false. He's done nothing of the kind, any more than Ndombele has. We don't play a double pivot to protect the defence when both of them play and not usually when either of them plays. They routinely play 10-20m, further up the pitch than Winks, Højbjerg or Sissoko. When Mourinho wants a deep block, he usually selects two of those three, with either Lo Celso or Ndombele roaming in front of them.Lo Celso has played as part of that double pivot in most of his appearances for us if I remember correctly and done very well.
Precisely why I’d sooner see the better player in Lo Celso start the game over Sissoko. I think some people think I’m being negative, I’m really not, it’s a decent result but why not aim higher when that Chelsea team are nothing special at all and were perfectly beatable

I think some people need to recognise that we don't and won't play with the same tactics every game. We now have a manager, and a squad, who adapt to the opposition every game. Sure, it would be nice to pummel teams like we did v United and Saints, but those types of results aren't going to happen regularly. As Jose said, we are still in a progression of learning and adapting to new systems and styles of play.I just hope the tactics don’t bite us on the arse later in the season. We are in the mix though which is great !

I have no issue whatsoever with how we play by the way. I couldn't care less if we got battered every week and still won 1-0 with a goal from a long punt up the pitch. Results are what matters and if we continue not to lose many games we will likely be close to the title come the end of the season.
? it’s my opinion. I don’t rate Sissoko. I’m allowed to state my opinion fella. I think the positive impact he has defensively is totally negated by the fact he can’t help us in an attacking sense, especially not in the role he’s playing recently where he picks the ball up very deep and can’t even make one of his bursts forward as it’s too risky. What does he then offer in terms of skill and composure in the ball and vision to play forward and build attacks? Absolutely nothing. I’m not disagreeing with anyone about his defensive impact, he’s been very good in that sense but I think his deficiencies pretty much overshadow that. Sorry for thinking Chelsea were there for the taking if we played a better player instead of Sissoko and being disappointed we didn’t win the game ? A draw is a good result but we could have won that game with more ambition and skill on the pitch
They highlighted Sissoko's role on MOTD and proved why he so important at the moment, suggest those who cannot see why he's being picked watch the analysis on iplayer.
Agree, but he needs to get his studs sorted out, kept slipping over way too much yesterday.Sissoko is very underrated. I agree that on the ball he is mostly terrible but off the ball he is indispensable. Guess who's covering for Aurier every time he goes forward? Guess who covered for Rodon when he went to midfield and lost the ball? As much as i love Gio there's no way he's doing anything like that
