Just back from an envigorating walk to see Citeh spoiled the anniversary. On to the next game now.

There are three Chelsea players on 4 yellows and if they get another they miss the CC Final. Lampard and Joe Cole are two - anyone know the third?

0-0 after 8 minutes.

I can see everyone's interested in this game .

To answer my own question, Carvalho is the other player on 4 yellows. Terry and Drogba are also on 4 but not playing today.

Still 0-0 and doesn't sound that exciting.

Did you know Rafa hasn't got so much as a draw away at Man U, Chelsea or The Goons? An even worse record than BMJ!

Ooh! Peter Crouch shoots wide in the 18th minute!

I did know that! Rafa is probably the most boring manager in the league. Mourinho, hate him if you will, at least he was a colorful character.

Crouch again...but straight at the keeper.

Crouch has had two good chances in the space of 3 mins.
Great set up play from Gerrard for the second chance.

I really don't know who to support here - apart from the ref & the physios. Four Yellows and two broken legs should do nicely.

Chelsea has a penalty appeal waved away as Joe Cole hits the deck. A collision of knees with Mascherano says the radio. Is that the collective noun for knees? A collision?

these two teams put too much pressure on each other that it becomes suffocating and doesn't give space for a fluid passing game. Especially Liverpool, who won't allow Chelsea to play their football

Liverpool should've been in the lead by the sound of things on 5live.

Crouch has been hopelessly ineffective.

Snore.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some sort of pressure is/has been put on the referee not to book those 3 players...

Lampard looks completely off the pace, not surprising as he's been out for 10 games.

If he can play like this against us I'd be happy.
