I am watching PSV vs Milan myself, simply because Lyon do not field their best players. Lyon used to have one of the best teams in the world, but now they are nothing special anymore. Mainly due to bad and uninteresting players brought in. Still they have some exciting youngsters, though. Like almost every french club.

City only been in the CL for a couple of years and never get past group stages but in pot 3 whilst Napoli, who are in a similar position, in pot 4. Benfica, pot 1? Dortmund pot 3 but Schalke pot 2?

This UEFA coefficient thing is pissed, just like the world/european rankings.

It works on a basis of club (and, to a lesser extent, country) achievments in Europe over the last five years. It is pretty fucked up but remember that Napoli, Juve and Dortmund haven't been in Europe every year of the last five and so didn't collect any coefficient points in the years they were absent.

Last five years - Semis, quarters, and three round of 16 appearances. Why is it a shock they are seeded in pot 1? Thats still an impressive run that is hard for eight teams to top.
