He's unlikely to make the England squad anyway with Kane, Greenwood, Ings and AbrahamHe's unlikely to make the England squad if he goes to us IMO.

Abraham should be displacable. His goal scoring form has been pretty terrible since the first 5 games of the season, and he has lost his place in the starting line up. Greenwood is not really a striker. Another one of this winger/forward hybrids. As a young player, form might also fluctuate next season. He's unlikely to make the England squad anyway with Kane, Greenwood, Ings and Abraham

Don't forget Rashford...
Very debatable if Jose goes for two up top at times which I think he will and Wilson proves he can play well with Kane Southgate will definitely put him in the squad that would be a major advantage for him signing for usHe's unlikely to make the England squad if he goes to us IMO.
A Prem experienced, 1 goal in 3 games, striker for an alleged price of £10 million.
It's exactly what we need whilst Parrott is developing out on loan.
I'd be all over Wilson, King, or Deeney as back-up/stop gap.
I'm surprised you have Deeney in there..!
Deeney is a real competitor. I think he would be a good option on a 2 year contract. Far more mobile than Llorente. Not as surprised as I am!
But I don't think we can afford to be too picky for a second striker in the situation we find ourselves in.
He scored 10 in 27 games last year, is Prem ready, and I assume wouldn't cost much.
And if we're being more direct in our play he's always been a handful.
Kane vs Deeney to take a pen ,some fight that ;-)Deeney is a real competitor. I think he would be a good option on a 2 year contract. Far more mobile than Llorente.
The Player I have seen this season is a fairly pale imitation of the player I saw about 18 months ago. I think he is a really good player or at leas Lt was but I do think this represents a fairly sizeable gamble - his fitness and injury issues, form, age and ? Decline make me slightly worried.
The alleged 10m price tag should mitigate some of your concern though.
Yeh, and it's hard to shine as a striker in a poor team, particularly if you try and play good stuff like Bournemouth. He didn't score a single time post-mid season break though. The alleged 10m price tag should mitigate some of your concern though.
Kane all day long for me. He's a beast from the spot!Kane vs Deeney to take a pen ,some fight that ;-)
Exactly this. This for me would be all about the financials. He’s a decent striker, decent pace, works hard, decent finisher, and as a guy to come in and compete with / cover for Kane, he’d tick a few boxes. If it is for a rumoured £10m, then I don’t see why not. Would he be happy in that role, remains to be seen, but I want a player who relishes the challenge of coming in to compete. We do have the option to play them as a pair, Jose has played two up top a couple of times, or even play Kane a little deeper to reduce the physical demand on him from time to time.
