Thank you for reading his name for me. While I can write, I’ve never mastered reading so your help is very much appreciated
But if you can’t read how could you.... ? never mind

Well we aren't willing to spend money on players that will, or at least more than one given Ndombele. 1 signing into the first team squad just isn't good enough at this point; given our revenue, last two windows, and the state of the team regarding age and contracts. We love in a world where players like Joelinton and Haller go for over £40m. No point in getting cheaper alternatives, they won't improve the squad.
I really hope we dont mess about and the window shuts and we get a 'we tried really hard' on Bruno Fernandes....
I really want us to sign this guy....please Tottenham!!
In reality the players who we should be looking at as "alternatives" are the likes of Grealish, Maddison, Brooks etc. but we all know we've missed the boat on them, they'd cost us upwards of £50m-£60m I'd imagine.Well we aren't willing to spend money on players that will, or at least more than one given Ndombele. 1 signing into the first team squad just isn't good enough at this point; given our revenue, last two windows, and the state of the team regarding age and contracts.
[@OJogo] Tottenham Hotspur are refusing to meet Sporting’s €70M valuation for midfielder Bruno Fernandes with chairman Daniel Levy ‘not forthcoming’ with more than €60M.
Spurs have tried to agree a scenario which would see bonuses and different ‘forms of payment’. #COYS #THFC
Seems eerily familiar...
It’s funny that so many fans want to chastise Levy for this.
Is Fernandes even worth this amount? It’s not like there’s a queue of clubs desperate to pay €70m for his services.
I think it’s pathetic to whinge and moan about not meeting a valuation such as this.
N’Dombele was much more sought after and we moved quickly and got it done.
Why should we be held to ransom for a player who represents quite a big risk, coming from a really poor league.
It’s fucking idiotic to just continue to cry that Levy should just hurry up and meet every team’s valuations. Especially on such a high risk transfer.
A little old wise ‘man’ once said: Do or do not. There is no try!Trying doesn't matter if you always fail...

If you have anyone in mind who would improve the squad at an affordable price feel free to throw them in the mix.
I mentioned in another thread I found him a bit inconsistent (admittedly from only watching him a few times), and was heavily shot down.I'm surprised nobody has gone in for Ziyech with a 26m release clause (allegedly).
But when do you stop trying to buy a 70m player without wanting to pay the required price before you move to your next option. It’s funny that so many fans want to chastise Levy for this.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we spent 70m on Fernandes and not someone like Lo Celso. It’s funny that so many fans want to chastise Levy for this.

The issue is the quality of player. But when do you stop trying to buy a 70m player without wanting to pay the required price before you move to your next option.

What I don’t get is we have x amount to spend and want Lo Celso and/Fernandes. We won’t pay the asking price for either of them, yet our offers aren’t that far off. Instead of ending up with no one, why aren’t we paying that bit extra to get at least one of them? We desperately need another attacking midfielder. Look at our available players for Villa, the bench is going to be even worse than last season. If the game doesn’t go our way we’ve no options on the bench.
