I hope Poch stays for a long time, but this sentence made me realise the day will come when the time is right for him to change.
I'm still early on in the book, but it's a good read and interesting to hear what makes him tick.

It tastes a bit like green tea, only a bit more fuller bodied, smokey and bitter. Wasn't keen at first but got hooked quite quickly while travelling round ArgentinaI find myself wondering what "mate" tastes like.

Well, it does combine the short term hit of coffee with the longer term linger of tea, so it's not far off! (although it's not been blamed for anyone killing themselves after illness - I think you mean euphemism).It sounds like he bloody loves it doesn't he. The book's a whole lot funnier if you treat 'drinking mate' as a euthanism for snorting cocaine
